Patreon funds political movements, is there an alternative way to financially support your ministry that is not benefiting patreon?
  • Thanks for addressing the Gregor and Blais paper. They make some very fishy moves. The Luke used Josephus argument is incredibly weak.

Amazing work ! I love this series and the many good arguments it has.

One of the things that convinced me of the historicity and reliability of the New Testament, when I read it for the first time, was the fact that multiple people have the same names. There are eight or nine Simons, six or seven people named Judas, despite the ignominy of Judas Iscariot, just as an example. There are many reasons why you would not give characters the same names if you were writing a work of fiction.

So good seeing these on the channel. Hope to see more projects like this. 😉

This is so much better than the previous episode. Excited to see more stuff. It feels a lot more discrete and specific than the first episode.

Arguments like Craig Keener’s last one are so underrated and underutilized… It’s very similar to an argument favoring the traditional authorship of the Gospels. Why attribute two of the Gospels to people who weren’t original disciples if you were making it up? Similarly, why not claim to be present for much bigger and more significant events in Acts if you were making it up? The best explanation and simplest is that accuracy is the primary motive rather than bias.
  • This was very informative and well put together! Thank you for the hard work and dedication it must have taken to do this series.

Really appreciate the hard work, we need more of these quality videos presenting questions we all have to the scholars we don-t have access to. It absolutely helps in our faith journeys. Keep up the good work, and please don't stop.
