Review on the Burris AR-332 scope for the AR-15. Reticle review. For the money, It's one of the best scopes for CQB and long range shooting.

I have the Burris AR-536 a true 5X magnification. It's fantastic! Good video thanks

I really don't know if I plan on shooting that far away but when I start putting my rifle together I will considered that. This is just such a sweet scope! Can't wait to own one!

Hey, TK, I sold this this scope and got a Eotech EXPS2-0. However, to change the battery, hold the dial (with numbers on it), on top of the dial there is a slot, use a coin to turn the top of the dial counter-clockwise. Change the battery and install in reverse order. Thanks for watching and the comment.

Hey Dan, Thanks for the comment. I've since gotten rid of this scope and got a Eotech. But, the time I had the Burris, it served very well.
  • Clear and concise. Just came across their website last night, and I'm considering this one, as well as their 'Ultimate' MOD1 with the Burris Fastfire II on top. Darn it all...so many choices...so little money. They sure do have good stuff though, without breaking your bank account. Next year (depending on the budget), hopefully we'll be looking into some optics for nighttime (any suggestions?). Good post, man. Thanks again for the info.

Thanks for the input, JPP, I already order one, so lets see if it goes work, if not I will just buy a QD mount to raise the burris.

This is the best review of the Burris I have seen. I have been thinking of getting the AR536, and your review of the AR332 just talked me into it. I do have a question though, when you say you can shoot with both eyes open, do you mean that the reticle is similar to that of the EOtech? where as on cheap red dots you have to have the dot in the exact center to be accurate?

Hey umbratx, thanks for the comment! Glad you liked the vid!

Hey faster, thanks for the comment. Both the AR-332 and the AR-536 have the same reticle. Both out to 600 yards. I've sat on my balcony and pointed the AR-332 (off the rifle of course) at the high rise buildings along the beach and had no problem seeing with exceptional clearity. I went for the AR-332 because of 1) weight-14.2 oz. vs. 18.75 oz. 2) size is smaller 3) not much magnification for CQB. If shooting over 300 yds, & you want better clarity for better shot placement, the 536 is great.

Really nice! Thanks for the vid!

Hey thanks Scott for the comment. If you plan on doing a lot shooting past 100 yards you might want the 5x.

Hey, John, thanks for the comment. You'll be happy with that scope!

this reticle is balitically matched for the 62 grain m855, it says so in the manual

you were talking about the scope canting to the left. I've experienced this with a different brand red dot. I heard (could be wrong) that "milspec" picatinny rails will result in some bases being off center and canting to the left. I ended up putting a shim to level mine out. Honestly I didnt know there was a difference in commercial spec vs mil spec rails but whatever.
