This is my dad!! I love you, Dada! You've got this whole thing!
  • @brandibauer1865
He is the janitor at my twins school, West Vigo. They were screaming and crying tears of happiness for Mr. Richard last night with their friends, I was right there with them, as was the entire Vigo County community! We are SO excited for him! It couldn’t happen for a more humble and kind man, he is so deserving of this. Can’t wait for America to see what we Hautian peeps have had the pleasure of seeing for two decades. LETS GO MR RICHARD ❤
  • He spent 23 years cleaning as a janitor. At the age of 55, he rode an airplane for the first time to pursue his dream. Alone and nervous, he sang at one of the most prestigious talent shows in the world and received the golden buzzer. Mr. Richard didn't stop believing.
  • That was probably the first time in 23 years that he was happy to see confetti
  • @Maoshung
I have never been more happy for someone to get the golden buzzer.

the guy screaming Richard's name is truly awesome human, god bless you.
  • @Karaokuma
Remember: no matter how good you are, it's humility that makes a truly great performer.

I can't express with words how lucky I feel to be able to say that I am one of the kids who always told him how amazing his voice is. My favorite part of walking through the hallways in school is hearing this phenomenon. ❤ Richard, you are indeed a true hero.
  • @avpineda
I hate how no one clapped when he said his job. Janitors deserve OUR IMMENSE THANKS !
  • @leighan4432
I won't stop believing, Thank you, Mr. Richard.
  • I hope Journey sees this. I cry every time I watch this. So proud of him.
  • @TravelManya
Wow My school janitor is on TV! I told a million times when he was cleaning my class and singing: Richard you got do something with your Voice! He is him! Way to go my Richard!

This is one of the most deserved golden buzzer I have ever seen. A 50 year old janitor who seems shy and nervous with a beautiful voice. This to me is what this show is about.

I am a professor of American culture and a musician, and I have watched from Istanbul my fave auditions over and over again, and I still say Mr. Goodall must win because he is the only one who truly proves that the American Dream of Success is still alive, no matter what. He deserves it with his voice, for his modesty, for his kids, and having a dream to sing, because he loves singing. America must give him the chance to sing throughout the rest of his life to compensate for the 55 years he couldn't. He is already the champion of our hearts.

i can’t get over the guy yelling and supporting richard so loudly. love people like this. richard was damn right amazing. 😭 seeing him cry when the buzzer went off made me tear up.
  • @robhaney8568
THIS is what this show was originally about ... no sob stories, no semi-professional entertainers, etc. Some random, humble guy with a hidden talent. Geez, that gave me chills ... so dang happy for Richard for getting the nerve up to do this. Team Richard!
  • @brianhild2519
Not too many people can pull off Steve Perry Vocals. This guy did it flawlessly
  • He has a beautiful voice ❤😊he deserves that one million dollars 🎉
