|| ABOUT US ||
Weā€™re Doug and Jamie - an aussie / american couple who love adventures, good food and exploring new places. For the past few years we have be using what weā€™ve had to explore more of Australia - which wasnā€™t much. But in 2020 we upgraded Dougā€™s work van and it now doubles as our home on wheels part time. 2022 was the year we decided it needed a makeover so we jumped into a big van build series over the winter, ready to hit spring in our new setup! Our hope for this channel is to grow a community of likeminded people and to inspire others to jump in the drivers seat of their own life (pun intended) and create their own magic. And after surviving life in one of the most lockdown cities in the world the last few years, we are back in action ready to share our adventures!

    Another corker folks, this was beautiful. Nastiest weather campsite, we drove to rubicon on a Friday eve, got there and every single spot was taken - we ended up driving to the border, somewhere near yarrawonga and pitched our tents at 1am next to a lake. The wind from the lake almost tore our tents to shreds, it was blowing the tent so far down that it was touching our faces as we tried to sleep. Suffice to say we got up super early and went somewhere else.
  • Great video even if you missed stuff. Love corrugated roadsā€¦notšŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø Nice beach at your camp. Long the light sabre tongs. See you next week
  • šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ those tongs! That fire pit is holding up really well šŸ‘ and did feel sorry for the folk in the tentšŸ«¢ itā€™s raining where I am tonight but thankfully Iā€™m at a friends place and not likely to get washed away. As a kid I visited my uncles farm at Metung, near Lakes Entrance, and I was enchanted in my bush walks. Just wish it wasnā€™t the wrong side of Melbourne for meā€¦think we can relocate Melbourne?šŸ¤” While I understand the huge amount of effort you put into these trips, please remember to enjoy yourselves and take the pressure off. We all love you and donā€™t want you getting burnt outšŸ˜˜
