“The heat is coming. It's gonna be 80 degrees.” laughs in Texan 😆

It still amazes me, how you had this blank piece of property and imagined everything you wanted and you are bringing it to life. I don’t have that kind of imagination.

So glad you went to ER to be checked out. Sometimes we all need to take that step. Glad everything checked out alright. And your lawn looks great!
  • Oh Brian, the sod really was the icing on the cake. What a difference. I have told you before, but I will tell you again, you have an amazing gift to see the possibilities and the strength to bring it to pass. So very beautiful! Praying that the Lord will help bring you His peace knowing He loves you very much.❤️✝️🙏
  • My Goodness! The cottage garden is simply stunning! Can't get my mind around the fact that you pretty much started from a blank slate with this property! So good that you sought help and I'm glad that you feel much better!
  • You are not alone. I ended up in the ER as well a few weeks ago with anxiety. It got so bad I ended up dehydrated with dizziness. I literally thought I was dying. By the time I got to the hospital my husband had to get me wheelchair. I could not walk. Anxiety is a real illness. It can be cribbing. I have lost all desire to garden , so and cook. My three major loves. I can’t make it stop and just seems tonjust get worst. It makes me so happy to see you to just push forward.

The grass looks great!!!! It really does make the flowers and cottage pop. I love how you are buttoning things up, everything is coming together. I am so glad you are feeling better. Thanks for all you do.

When I first saw the thumbnail for this video, I literally said out loud, "Oh no, Brian!" My wife looked over at me, and I then had to explain the situation to her. I'm a very shy person even when it comes to social media, so I have never really commented on very many videos. (Mainly comments about the cottage garden) But when I first found your channel (Next Level Gardening), I couldn't get enough. I went back to the beginning. Your very first video started binge watching, so I didn't miss a single step of the process. Then, when you moved and started Next Level Homestead I subscribed to that and never missed a video. I've learned a lot from you, Brian, and you've given me a lot of inspiration and motivation to make my gardens even better. The cottage has been one of my favorite projects since you started it. The sod looks great and makes it all blend together and look complete. I can't wait to see a full view of it when it's all finished! Maybe with a bit of drone footage.?

I don't know if you realize how amazing you and your family's work is. I can't get over how beautiful your property has become. It's a Disney princess worthy environment. Emily? 🎉🎉 I'm glad you are feeling better.
  • Hi, firstly, if you drink any form of caffeine I highly recommend you stop ASAP. Find a few videos on Youtube about people quitting caffeine and just read the comments about how much caffeine pushed their anxiety levels through the roof. Quitting caffeine is very hard at first but it really is worth it. Secondly, I also recommend doing some research on the human gut microbiome. Your gut bacteria has 2 way communication with your brain through the vagus nerve. Your gut microbiome can affect your metal health, cognition, hormones and much more. Best of luck!
  • I'm so glad you got checked out, Brian! I'm a retired RN and our son is an Emergency physician and we'd both say you did exactly the right thing. I pray for you and your family to continue to be well. The sod is amazing! I LOVE it! You are doing amazing work with your property - being a great steward. Also, while Daisy continues to be beautiful, the lambs are adorable! I love watching them! Thanks so much for sharing everything, my friend. Sending you and Emilie and Noah love and prayers!
  • Brian taking care of yourself is real important. always take the time to ensure your not damaging your health. great to see it all coming together

  • I'm glad you got checked out - now you can focus on the projects you want to complete! Sod looks awesome! Good job Brian!
  • Grass looks great. Sooo good to have a Brian fix. Now I can head out to the garden feeling refreshed. Thank you Brian and Emily, as behind every great man is a great woman 😉

So glad to hear your heart checked out well at the ER! Absolutely love the grass you put down and can't wait to see it when the other side of the driveway is done! You are a master at making your vision come to life!
  • I drooled when you turned the camera on the black earth fringing the cottage garden! And later..... I gasped when I saw the pile of sod delivered! Oh my goodness! And now..... I'm gasping AND drooling at the reveal of the emerald necklace of sod to frame the garden! Congratulations on another dream realized through hard work and incredible creativity. So thankful to be able to watch you achieve these things and share in your joy and excitement. It is so satisfying and wholesome. Thankful for Joel being able to help with an amazing extension to the sod project. How serendipitous that you had extra supplies! And also so thankful for Emilie, who probably had a pretty intense evening with you last night at emergency.
