My mom passed away on January 26 2023 when the family got together every 2 weeks we would listen to the Oldies music since before my dad passed away August 30th 2018 memories I'm playing them right now. Remembering them all the time

Man when I was 13/14 yrs old my pops would have me drive for him to my tios, older primos and his home boys pads back in the day. Cruising to thru the barrios out here in Valle Coachella playing these firme rolas! He was born in 1957 and had me in 1987. Taught me everything I know and remeber where I came from. Miss you everyday Jefe! "Orale!" with your hands out side to side with chin up! Q-Vo to all the Veteranos! They dont make them like they used to for sure. 💪🏽😎🍻

My daughter Monique "Mochacha" Sanderson Mata, of Phoenix, Az. worked at KDIF radio station on the South Side, every Sunday she and her co workers played oldies all day, she passed away 2 yrs ago, I still listen to the oldies every Sunday in her memory!

Reminds me of when I would go to my Nina's house and we'd dance and sing all around the house! And also cruising Whittier Blvd. from Montebello to East Los and turn around on Friday nights. Good times.

I'm 65 years old now. I love listening to the real singers that had soul and wrote meaningful lyrics. Sadly I can't listen to them for too long. I start getting melancholy and tears 😢 start to roll down my cheeks. To all my black and Latinos brothers and sisters. Please, make sure you forgive and love those around you. Life is too short.
