Can you hear that?... that's the sound of speed👂! Matt Jones decided to give us a tour of his home trails at Woburn Sands and top secret slopestyle training compound for this week’s Sound of Speed. The trick to being a top slopestyle contender is marrying combinations of tricks, speed and style. Things which Matt is keen to keep sharp over the cold months ahead.

The warm summer evenings of the FMB World Tour season may have drawn to a close for another year, but that doesn’t mean that Matt Jones, one of the UK’s big names in terms of freeride and slopestyle riding, has any intention of hanging up his bike

This sounds so much sicker without music, just the satisfying sounds of bike!

It's so satisfying to watch, how smooth he hits the line.
  • @jpk91
The absence of music really made the video perfect o.O great job
  • @mangoshake
Got recommended just now, perfect foreshadowing for Matt's new project!
  • @MitchDowling
These raw videos are honestly the best thing ever. The sound of the tyres on dirt is inexplicably better than any song!

These are some of my favorite videos. Hope to keep seeing them every once in a while.

4 years ago and I still can’t get my head around Matt hitting every jump perfectly
  • @terribleone38
Wow that kicked at least 43 asses! love edits like that with no music to distract from the riding, just raw shredding. So smooth and fast.
  • @vardypeeps
So nice to watch and butter smooth style from Matt, Sick!
  • this is dope, I could watch it again. Hearing all the natural sounds of the bike and landings really makes this enjoyable
  • The first two filming locations are Woburn Bike Park and Rushmere Country Park if you're interested, if you go there, make sure you pay your fee, pick up your rubish and don't leave any sodding breaking bumps! Pretty sure the third place, after the car journey is Sam Pilgram's place. He makes it look SO easy!
