At this point, I'm pretty sure the double broodal fight in Bowser's is physically impossible to win as the runner in Odyssey Manhunt. (Unless someone has done it and I'm not aware of it)

A suggestion to the mod maker. Give the runner invincibility frames after every cutsceen. That way cutsceen camping is not as stupid.

i've seen a few manhunt runs and it always ends at the double boss in bowser's kingdom. some special health pickups or something like that around that area could be added to make it fairer, but i guess saving the checkpoint heal also works.

As fun as these are to watch, it almost becomes anticlimactic when it almost always ends on the two mandatory Broodals in Bowsers. Edit: Grammatical error

If you don’t know what you’re doing, then your rival can’t possibly anticipate your actions.

A much more effective way of doing the manhunt would actually be to change the goal: one player is trying to beat the game as quickly as possible, while the other is simply trying to stop them from winning for as long as possible. This would make going back for life up hearts and standoffs horrible for the runner, but also give them as many tries as they need to get past the Broodals in BK.

I'm glad you are using the Donkey Cong Country Returns music, it doesn't get enough love. I would love to see a video trying to Speedrun that game at some point as well.

I feel like to stand any chance at the mandatory broodal bowser kingdom fights the runner would have to have enough health to do the first, then get the lifeup heart and do the second... one of these days someone will conqueror it
