Gardening in South Central Texas, USA. Humid Subtropical zone, initial garden has only been established now for about 4-5 years; and has seen at least one bumper crop of tomatoes, one bumper crop of potatoes, and one bumper crop of cucumbers. A lot more has been planted, but not as good results.
Working on amending the soil, and becoming more efficient with available resources, with the ultimate goal of creating year-round food source for a family of five in an unfriendly (climate, overreaching local authorities, high taxation, high cost of living) urban setting.
