In ocarina of time, when ganon shoots multiple projectiles at you in his first phase, you can spin attack and send all straight back at him. Knocks him down and it's pretty cool
  • Mojoplays is should also be noted that in TotK that Koume and Kotake aren’t Ganondorfs mothers and are more like his Right Hand and Left Hand servants as they appear to be the same age or younger than him in memories wearing golden masks and sashes translating their names

The music for the fights against King Dodongo and Volvagia is called 'Dinosaur Boss Battle' in Ocarina of Time's soundtrack. King Dodongo and Volvagia are both ancient creatures that died and were revived using Ganondorf's magic. Sound familiar?

The Bug Net can also be used in A Link Between Worlds to deflect Yuganon's projectiles in the second phase.

The final form of Nightmare AKA Dethl looks a LOT like Vaatis final form. Wait strike that reverse that.
  • I had friends who tried telling me ice arrows were required to beat bongo bongo
  • Not sure if this counts, but the theme playing while fighting the demon king's army in totk is a remix of the phantom ganon theme from wind waker

Bongo Bongo was terrifying as a kid fighting this boss.
  • Forgive me for not being able to pronounce this boss, but I’m just gonna call the bird king in wind Waker. You can technically kill it with arrows and the boomerang but it’s a slow fight this way.

The Blademasters who patrol the Yiga hideout can be distracted by anything Link can take from his Inventory, hold, and place or throw. That's not an easter egg, that's the intended method of getting through the hideout. There's even something that can be used as a distraction on a platform suspended by a rope near the first stationary guard. The intent was for players to shoot the rope to drop the item, see that it distracts the guard, and use that to their advantage in the big room. Monk Maz Koshia's thing where he'll be distracted by Mighty Bananas if you put some out parallels the Yiga Footsoldiers. I wonder if that behavior for Maz Koshia was intentional, or if they just used the Yiga Footsoldier as a template and forgot to remove that little quirk?

Did not know Shadow temple comes before Spirit temple in OoT o.O
