CapCut is a free video editor that really simplifies the video editing process.

And in my 15 years of editing experience, this might be the best, beginner friendly tool for creating social media and YouTube videos.

You can use it online, on Windows PC, Mac and they have mobile apps too.

With Capcut, you can easily create social media videos for TikTok and YouTube, marketing videos, personal videos. Pretty much any style of video you want.

And they recently added ton of new AI tools to make editing faster and easier.

So in this video, I’ll walk you through the entire editing process, step by step.

Before we get started, download Capcut to your computer. That is the best version of the app and far more useful than the mobile app and the online app.

There is a paid version of Capcut called Capcut pro that gives you more options, but for this video, we will only use the free version.

You still can sign in to get access to more free options on the login page.

Step 1: Create a new project and name your project

Step 2: import Media

Step 3: change aspect ratio

Step 4: basic editing

Step 5: adding b-roll

Step 6: adding music

Step 7: mixing audio

Step 8: add text and captions

Step 9: add effects and transitions
