I’ve been to Vegas numerous times as my son lived there for many years. Believe it or not one of my favorite free activities is people watching. You never know what you’re going to see next. Love your videos.

  • I have lived in Vegas for 40 years. I have seen this city grow and change...where other cities make their old buildings historical landmarks, we like to implode buildings and build new ones...we are funny that way. And I've seen the beginnings of the buffets when they were bad and priced at $1.99, to petty damn good at $8.99, to the best in the world at $60.00 for dinner. As for things you can do for free/or cheap...we have Red Rock Canyon and yes the rocks are actually Red. And Mt Charleston. That is for the nature lovers. Yes both are off the strip, but Vegas is more than just the strip or downtown. There is also the Hoover Damn overlook, as well as Lake Mead itself...even though the levels are low, it is still the largest man made Lake this side of Mississippi. And it's amazing to see. And the biggest thing to do for free, the strip itself...walking or driving it during the day is really cool. But doing it at night, it's the only place in the world that you can see from space. The lights are definitely a sight to behold. Things that are pretty cheap, the NEON Mueseum, even though we implode buildings, we keep the signs that were a top those buildings. The tour is literally a history lesson in Las Vegas, and if you go at night, all the signs are lit up. It's amazing. Another Mueseum, our Mob Mueseum. I don't even think Chicago has one of these. When the mob was here it was actually one of the safest cities in America...not the mention our ex mayor was the lawyer for several of those men. U name another city that has enuf guts to vote a "mob lawyer" as their mayor? Oh and his wife is the current mayor. One last thing, the Mirage Volcano, if you want to see it you might want to make it fast. The Mirage has been bought and they are doing what we always do, imploding, and building a brand new hotel. Like I said we are funny that way... Yes we can be expensive to stay here. And now that we have the Raiders (NFL), the Golden Knights (NHL), The Lights (AA MLS), and might and I do mean might be getting the Oakland As (MLB), and even talks of an expansion team for the NBA. We are now a sports town.. Either way, spending money, or doing things for free or cheap..all I can say, enjoy your stay here... Sorry this post was so long....wanted to get as much info in this as possible.

For me, just walking around inside the hotels are such a treat. Walking inside New York New York and Venetian is so cool.

My daughter just turned me onto your videos. Ruby, you are awesome! Love how many tips and visual information you provide in a brief video. So much bang for the buck. You let the places shine instead of making it all about you. Friendly, helpful and so fun to watch!!
  • @pattismith6149
This video/filming and editing were all awesome and definitely must have taken a lot of time to put together. Perfect 10 suggestions and all definitely worth seeing ☺️

Vegas has such a great vibe! I live in Salt Lake City so it’s only a 6 hour drive for me! I’m going at the end of March for 5 days to celebrate my 23rd birthday. I always was so fascinated with Vegas when I was a kid, and it’s so amazing to finally go now as an adult and enjoy what Vegas has to offer! It’s such a fun place. My favorite thing to do there is just walk around the strip and sip my drink!
  • @jjinmisang
4:00 Atlantis Show 12-8 every hours 5:42 Lake of Dreams Show from dusk to midnight every 30 minutes Thank you for the info 🙏
  • @SportsBoss999
Even for a semi-veteran of Vegas like me, it's always nice to be reminded of all the sights to see in Las Vegas. It's unlike any other place. Fun, relaxing experience. There's plenty of time to gamble, so take Ruby's advice on the free things in Vegas!
  • @lauramoore8823
I often find that vegas is one of our cheaper vacations because we'll basically just walk around and just look at stuff all day long. Punctuate that with some cheap beverages from CVS and it's really not so bad :D
  • @general8284
I've seen a few other channels covering the whole Vegas scene but this is by far the best one. Slam Dunk, Home Run, Game Set and Match!
  • The container park has the awesome giant grasshopper and then the arts district has great murals to see - thanks!
  • @joannlawery4258
You missed the praying mantis at container park that shoots out fire because even the insects are entertainers in Las Vegas!
