FRED!!! THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING UP FOR HBCU'S - It's more than sports - They are pumping out quality and confidence individuals yearly in overwhelming numbers. I wish more athletics would invest their dollars in HBCUs/education. Channing your wife is an example of excellence of an HBCU get on the wagon.

HBCUs don't look at athletes as just athletes. They hold those young men and women accountable to be more than an athlete and pursue greatness beyond athletics. Many HBCUs want their students to be more than their sport, unlike some PWIs who mostly look at their athletes as a ticket price or commission to build their facilities and presidential suites.

Fred always pushes the conversational beyond basic, he has very deep thoughts.

The only reason HBCU's aren't on the same level is due to funding. Power 5 schools receive millions more in funding every year from the government, including sponsorships, & alumni giving back. The HBCU I graduate from was recently gifted $1M from an alumni which is the largest in school history. Dr. Dre gifted USC $20M last year. Big difference.

The only reason Power 5 schools are Power 5 schools is because our athletes made them powerful. Is it to build a pipeline to the NFL or build the culture through an HBCU? Both are possible. Our community is fractured and HBCUs can begin the rebuilding of the foundation of community-minded leaders. Channing wouldn't be one to sit at a counter during the Civil Rights movement. HBCU's can not compete and he's right, but the bigger picture Channing won't embrace, is the movement and pursuit of a higher purpose of rebuilding Black families and communities. I also don't think Channing knows the history of how HBCU talent was raided because that's where the talent was. Yes, cultural sacrifice. We need higher profile men like Brandon, Chad, Fred, Jared, Channing and Deion to say, you will not ignore Black talent at HBCUs to keep them down and youth, you can come to an HBCU, make the league if you're gifted, and get cultural, intellectual and life development beyond the field if you're not, as well.

When we talking HBCU’s there’s a lot of players that went too the NFL! 1. Jerry Rice 2. Walter Payton 3. Deacon Jones 4. Willie 5. Jackie Slater 6. Michael 7. Shannon (Unc) 8. Ed “Too tall Jones” Just a few so there is players I could think off!!

I love Fred Taylor's quiet, humility and classic confidence... He's definitely a Renaissance Man!

Fred is absolutely needed on this show I love his wisdom and perspective

Fred T is really the one I want to hear most from every week. Love his insight, love his perspective, love his intellect, love his delivery. His input can usually wrap up the entire show. Unless they wrap the show with Chad or Chan’s humor and that works too.

Fred Taylor the most underrated tailback of all time. My favs growing up was barry then fred then all day.

I’m glad Fred spoke on the Randy Moss Hall of Fame. A lot plays on a person mind & heart when they have achieved something. His up bringing or his Mother anything. Jared seemed like he got what Fred was saying. Fred deserves to be there!

What Prime is doing in Mississippi… is showing a path for prosperity. Now kids can get sponsors and coaching… those extras that Channing is enamored with will follow. The NFL will go to where the talent is. Some players won’t like the HBCU culture… others will thrive.

PrimeTime is doing a great job with changing things for HBCUs! Hopefully, he doesn't leave.
