  • Kevin joining the FaceTime with tank’s daughter is the absolute most wholesome thing I’ve ever heard
  • @luisebritta6139
But for a German, what David said made sense although it should have been ”on the umbrella” 😂
  • @thatguy_5240
Ingrid calling Kevin Spaceman is just the single most adorable thing I've ever heard
  • @EkkoTheGekko
I was really starting to think that David is just playing his bad English but the sentence "Do you still have the tablets infront of your umbrella" just kills me as a German. The word-to-word translation is "Hast du noch die Tabletten auf dem Schirm?" which means "Do you still have the medication in mind?". This is a truly "not the yellow from the egg"-moment and I love this!

Its so cool seeing how energised and revitalised Tank is after this tour. Bet it hardly feels like work when you love the band and their people.
  • @braden_clancy11
tank seems like he sincerely cares about the bands he works with and it really shows
  • @SkyHighRollins
As a german, the David/Umbrella story damn killed me 😂😂😂
  • @jenniferbyrd608
Kevin is spaceman. That makes my heart so happy. Can't explain how happy this makes me to hear more joy from Callboy. Would seriously travel ANYWHERE to see them again.
  • @Araneu5
The Umbrella part cracked me up. There is whole art of literrally translating German idioms into English.
  • @LionheartSJZ
As someone who's been subscribed to you from sub 1k subscribers and hung out on your Discord for a while, it's just so wholesome to hear about your success with Electric Callboy. The very band that actually brought me to your channel :) Much love Tank, keep doing what you're doing and keep being you!

At rockcircus, a festival in the netherlands where electric callboy played, we had a guy in wheelchair crowdsurfing. Everybody was very carefull with him and he was having an absoluut blast! It was so amazing to see. The band themselves went wild when they saw it too.

"Hast du die Tabletten noch auf dem Schirm?" = "Do you have the tablets on your umbrella?" = "Do you have the pils on your (radar) screen?" = "Do you remember the pills?" Schirm (umbrella ) is also short for "Bildschirm" (screen) and the reference is about a screen monitoring what's going on currently. We Germans love direct translations that don't make sense for English speakers.

as a german living in the states, germans complain a lot too BUT afterwards. while everything is going on everyone is focused on getting the job done no matter what and with whatever is provided
  • I taught German for a bit in the Aberdeen region. I really loved the way you had to sleuth around in order to understand some of the mistakes that the students made. Reverse-engineering the use of the dictionary and so on. I started to collect such absurde translations. Auf dem Schirm, on the umbrella. That goes on the list.

🗣☂ hahahha So glad you had an amazing experience! Awesome to have met you finally, too! Can't wait for the next one! 😀
  • @patrickward7854
I’ve never really thought about the work that goes on behind the scenes to get a show/tour going. This is infinitely interesting.
  • @Lolliedieb
I guess the thing about this band is that they started as some dudes that just liked to hang around and do some music with each other. And that type of band they have been for years. Well Nico is "new", but from the old footage it seemed that they also picked him because it just did click with him was well. And they managed to keep this attitude till today and are just amazed about whats happening at the moment - I mean filling all this not small clubs in the US and even bigger arenas here in Europe and run a production on that level is also new for them. And this attitude just makes you chilled and grateful - and of course triggers your own inner play child, because now you can bring things to the stage you have always dreamed of. Guess that is what has formed the spirit of this tour.
  • @sh4dm0
Just watching this makes the love this band even more. They're wholesome gents and obviously super talented. They're my go to when I'm feeling down and out. Anywho, what was Kevin and Nico's warm up routine?
  • @GranTurismoJunky
So funny to hear Denver was the wildest show. Every show I go to I hear the bands say that we are one of their favorite crowds but I’m always like “yeaaa okayyyy” so to hear it from you is validating 😂 STILL SAD I MISSED THE EC SHOW but hope the band brings you and themselves back here sometime soon!

In Germany at th Hamburg gigs there are 12 bodybuilding style secus. They have a lot to do. Last time there was a guy who surved 6 times. At the last time he came we front row gals had the urge to let him fall down. But we were kind, lol. Shout out to my female friends from the St. Pauli rugby team! You are the best company at front row! You make sure the smaller girls at front row have a great gig amd can breath! Never without you!
