Matt and Kelley's story | St Luke's Hospice Plymouth

Published 2023-11-12
Matt and his wife Kelley have always made wonderful memories together, but they didn’t expect the joyful moments they experienced after he was admitted to St Luke’s specialist unit a few weeks ago, weak and in pain.

He and Kelley have agreed to share their story in an extended video in order to banish the myths and remove the fear of hospice care for other families.

We hope you’ll agree it’s worth taking a little time out to watch their honest and uplifting interview here. You can also read Matt and Kelly’s full story on our website: www.stlukes-hospice.org.uk

HAPPY SPOILER ALERT: Matt is now grateful to be back at home enjoying precious time with Kelley and their children, with support from our community team.

I truly believe hospice workers are amazing people - loving, listening without judging, walking the path with your loved one and family. It takes a very much strong, loving people to do that work. Bless you all !
