I’ve been to 1 casino 1 time and hit $800 on a penny slot, left and never went back. I figured I burnt all my luck on the first trip 🤣

Mathematics professor here. Accurate information and very well explained in layman’s terms to the average gambler.

I used to work for a large slot manufacturer as a QA Engineer. I tested the games. What you said in this video is 100% EXACTLY ACCURATE. All of the games we created had numerous mapping tables. Sometimes, the games were so complex that I would have to contact the programmer or mathematician so they can explain to me the math. The games were super complex. But I can tell you with confidence that all games can hit the top jackpot on every single spin, or bonus round, etc. The low paying symbols are highly weighted, however. This is why you never seem to get top awards but it is possible.

I played slots for 41 years and I quit 5 years ago (in 4 days) when it started to get silly with stakes and volatility. I never knew I had a problem until I quit. These days I wouldn’t entertain playing a slot, but this video was insightful and just why I quit. Thanks for the video.

What is predetermined is that over a long enough timeline you will ALWAYS lose your money.

No matter how random the number generation is, the foundational odds that are baked in will eventually ALWAYS payoff for the house.

Very good and informative video Marc. I am an amateur slots player( don’t get to play too often) but now having listened to this video I have a better understanding of slots in general. Knowing what my budget is when I play I feel that the low volatile games will be better suited for me. Now to make a list of them and choose from that list which ones to play!😊🎰👍🏻

I hit the max jackpot on a slot for $50,000 and the guy there told me that the max jackpot had not gone off in over 3 years !!!!! It’s all random luck !! Have fun and gamble smart !!

Thanks Marc! Super informative! I watch all different channels and really actually prefer the long play to see exactly what you said! But I think the best tip was what you said at the end… to make your trip last, play the LOW volatility machines first… try to build up your bank roll then you can move on to a little more risk if you want without losing it all in a short time potentially! Thanks again!
  • Love this video! I would like to see one that explains betting on different denominations and how that impacts triggering bonus rounds/winning frequency etc. thanks!!

You re-enforced what I already knew about slots. The one point I learned was that I had some control over the ones that showed where everything was in the picking. Great video to all the misinformation out there.
