Bro is just a Drake Superfan. Ross made Drake bigger (at urban) with Aston Martin Music. Not the other way around. Teflon Don his best album. Drake wasn’t running shxt in no 2010. Thank Me Later?! HELL no. MY BEAUTIFUL DARK TWISTED FANTASY was in 2010!! Devil In A Blue Dress WAY BIGGER for Ross than Aston Martin Music. Distant Relatives was that year. Pink Friday. Flockaveli. Pilot Talk. Kush & OJ. I Am Not a Human Being. Eminem Recovery. Blueprint 3 was STILL on the charts from 2009. Kid Cudi. BOB became a pop star that year. Kanye and PUSHA T had a bigger record than Drake had in 2010, with Runaway. Drake highest charting song that year was Over, at #14. Drake helped a lot of people LATER. But, He also TOOK a lot of people’s best songs and album cuts to create his own albums. PartyNextDoor. Weeknd. Burna Boy. Quentin Miller. These people’s unreleased albums became huge chunks of His albums.

Ross DEFINITELY did not spank 50 with bars and songs. He barely mentioned 50. He just kept putting out hits and jabbed him on Mafia Music. On the other hand 50 Cent was going at him hard on tracks like "Go ahead officer Ricky try me", "Tia told me" and jabs on many other songs. Lets not rewrite history for Drakes fans. They only started listening to rap when Drake blew.

ain't no significance using the term consumer. we all consumers of music.

Rick Ross is probably the greatest rapper to never really blow up. He's maximized his visibility into a fortune but he's never had a smash album that exploded on the charts even though he's made amazing music. I've always believed that his potential has always had a ceiling due to an inability to cross over into pop culture. His collaborations with Drake was his attempt at cracking that glass ceiling. At the end of the day Ross' marketability has limitations to only the street but that's enough to have a sustained career.

Ross won the battle

Jay Hill please I’m a lil younger than you. And I even know that Drake has nothing to do with Future. You’re missing Future whole mixtape run in 2015/2016. Y’all be tooo fanned out with Drake. I love Drake but neither Ross or Future needed him to succeed.
