  • if i was sentinals i would just win the game without losing a round, just a thought
  • @1cedcoffee
it honestly feels like Sentinels are playing not to lose instead of playing to win, maybe the pressure of Champions is getting to them edit: i started a war. sorry guys

Gotta be the monitors. Jk, but watching this live was painful. But the confidence of GenG was strong and the adjustments came too late.

These videos are top tier quality! In that Haven game I wished there was some Cypher utility to help out the A anchor. Viper's wall is only useful if you actually attempt to fights for either A long or short. The other option would of course to fight A main past the wall up to the choke like you mentioned.

I had expected GenG to win but I had thought it would be 2-1 or even if it was a 2-0, I thought both maps would at least be kind of close. Sen lost several matches before this one, but I had thought losing would show them what they're lacking in and that they would fix those mistakes before what might be their toughest match yet. And... that did not happen.
  • while i love your medium to longer videos (17-30+ mins) i’m also loving the frequency of these shorter ~15 min videos. keep it up!
  • @exousiaz
watching sen matches always felt like they are less proactive and take way too long to execute compared to top teams, great summary
  • @namson2005
The only thing that worries me is their confidence, having lost 2-0 three times in a row must have made them feel less confident in themselves

Please get signed, your analysis is so good to not be on an org.
  • playing too slow is a sign of less confidence, overthinking, and poor comms. Which is very concerning for Sentinels, as they have John as an IGL, Zellsis as flex and second caller, and also a champs winner in Sacy.Zellsis and John should be the most talkactive ones, Tenz is always positive, Idk about sacy and zekken. If I can change someone in this team I think Sacy should go away, he doesn't look like a champs winner tbh
  • this video is sick cuz it shows not only the difference between teams but also how valorant as a whole functions at least in the current meta. information gathering and denial and map control are the most important macro skills, and you cant have either unless you're constantly moving and being active like that round on ascent where SEN didn't move, they're letting gen g capture information and then not making it obsolete... simple example is if you know enemies have spotted 2 on B and 3 on A, they're gonna try and hit B before you can rotate from A. need to mix it up majorly so that they're not able to capitalize on that info. and map control yeah re-clears is super basic macro strat. sen midrounding is just not up to snuff

I love both the 10-15 minute videos and the 30-40+ minute videos equally as much. Keep up the great content

Classic sen getting comfortable and complacent then wondering why they can’t win anymore while every other team has been working hard and evolving
  • Ur 100% right on basically everything you said and it makes me so sad as a Sen fan. They reached such a high peak playing so confidently and they look extremely unconfident in all of their plans. I think they are getting this feeling from the top down from Kap feeling like they have to play deadlock to innovate instead of playing the heavy retake style they are known for. IMO Sen are probably a top 3 team at retaking and when ur sitting on a deadlock comp that’s not the point of the comp. I’m watching Johnqt and zellsis not stack utility on the same sights like LEV and FNC do and they look so flat on the map. I’m really hoping Kap takes his own advice and starts not giving a fuck and locks in. I believe SEN CITY

Thank you Platoon, your videos are always a delight
  • the only thing i dont get is that sentinels didnt get worst just against GenG, they got WAY worst even in VCT Americas, Aspas actually managed to qualify them to champions, and its really sad to see a team that won masters at the start of they year in this situation. (EG had a similar situation, but they werent even close to be considered the best team in the world and only the underdogs until champs 2023)
  • @nou-jn6uz
8:17 just more proof that every team plays at its absolute best only against nrg
  • @jojomaho
I think what people meant by "sentinels not contesting A main enough" is for the 2nd half where they just let munchkin manipulate and control A main space without any cintest at all (atleast not until later in the rounds)
  • They also took too many solo fights when contesting and and;e during both attack and defense and swung to trade each other more than they swung as a duo/trio/team.
