Chris Hedges has become one of my favourite writers and broadcasters on political subjects, especially pertaining to US politics, economics and society. I had the great pleasure of hearing Professor Noam Chomsky be interviewed by David Barsamian at Macky Auditorium in Boulder, some years ago. The discussion was most elucidating, and I have Chomsky's autograph in my Chomsky on Anarchism book, which I shall cherish forever; a great man with a great mind.
  • One needs an empathic sensibility, love for humanity, hate against injustice and an intellectual understanding of the realities of class warfare and historic perspective to understand Chris Hedges, Chomsky and the community of progressive people.
  • I get a deep sense of sadness listening to Chomsky because when he's gone we'll lose perhaps the greatest voice of reason left. Chris, you're very close but you will have to pick up heavy shoes. It won't be easy. We have so few truly honest and wise voices left. It's very lonely in a sea of corruption. 😪

Always a discussion of ideas, history, science, wars, divisons, the meaning and arguments. THANK YOU CHRIS, and Professor Chomsky.
  • So much appreciate Noam's intelligence. There are near none with such clarity on what is occurring. Thankyou.
  • Chris Hedges, one of my favorite journalists. Much respect, may your voice reach far and wide. Noam Chomsky, a national treasure from academia.

Noam Chomsky's wise words will be read, and listened to, for centuries after his passing. He is one of the very few truly noble human beings. A great man. A great life. A great mind. A great educator. I do hope Noam retains his great mind, and good health, a while longer. I do hope you make the ton sir! The very best of health to you.🤗
  • Chris is what Nietzsche called a "Critical Historian". Thanks to Chris and Noam for their humanity.
  • In 2015, I saw the parallel between the 1930s and the political situation today and I started studying German history then.
  • @AxmedBahjad
Prof. Noam Chomsky utters wisdom in a simple way. He used to talk to the intellectual class in his talks. At 90 or over 90 year-old, he is much better than before in terms of delivering the message. Cheers,

I honestly don't know how anyone can sit in the same room with Noam Chomsky and not be completely giddy...even Chris Hedges.

I just started to follow Chris Hedges. I started to know what a serious, knowledgeable person he is. A great journalist who does profound research on his subjects and his analyses of major and current issues going on in the world right now. I can now say I respect Mr. Hedges a great deal.
  • Please gentlemen, you have to have more talks for us to listen to you.
  • @bumfie
So much of this rings true . To hear this interview makes me feel better that other folk actually understand the attack (class war ) against all working class people
  • @artpalmer1353
Chomsky continues to inform and astonish! He is a titan who insists that each person can engage systems meaningfully.
  • Two of the greatest minds of our time discussing, with refreshing candor, the crises we face. Thank you.
  • I often become saturated by Noam and slip away into a deeper study of a single subject. In deed;, he is a thought invoking speaker.
