  • To be clear, Bull's fans don't hate the team. They hate the front office and ownership. Maybe get that part right. Talk to a person in the city that's not a Reinsdorf sycophant
  • For the Bulls: Giddey is a pure PG - he needs the ball in his hands to distribute and drive to the hoop, he was miscast as a SG and with SGA on OKC a starting PG role was never going to happen. He's 21, 6'8" and triple-double guy, won't even be in his prime until after his next 4 year contract is up. If Bulls shift Coby to SG could be a great fit and an excellent backcourt, with potential for more in the future. Hopefully this leaves Giddey's "distraction" behind him in OKC too and lets him restart. However, probably could have gotten more at last year's deadline for Caruso. For OKC: I thought OKC needed a stretch big, perimeter D isn't their issue, but this gets rid of the Giddey "distraction," and the Caruso contract is good - if Alex stays healthy his experience, shooting and defense will be a great addition, plus leaves OKC with all their picks plus the cap space to make another move. But if their starting 5 is now SGA, Caruso, Dort, JDub and Chet, they're still going to be playing small ball and get busted up in the post on both ends, especially in the playoffs. I'd guess that now they're going to plan to use their cap space on a Caruso extension if he's looking good come January, and burn through draft picks to trade up from 12 this year for a big man to come off the bench and acclimate to their system. Trade Grade: B+ for both parties. Huge upside with risk for Bulls but no picks; decent guard upgrade for Thunder on a guard rich team, not in the place they needed most.
  • Giddy is 21 give him time to develop. Zach talking as if he's 31
  • @AyeGeeYT
I like the trade for Chicago, you’re not winning anything right now anyway, take a flyer on a young player with potential
  • @Eco_KAT
Giddy will be great! Needs work on his shot… sure, but IQ is off the charts!
  • @BEZ11
Is Zach Lowe under the impression that the white Sox are good?
  • He was the 2nd option on a play in team. He just got bumped down to the 4th option last season with addition Chet and evolution of Jalen Williams.
  • @psychenautes
Something about Zach's camera looks like it was prerecorded in the early 2000s
  • @LetsG2i
Josh Giddey will 100% become an all-star. People keep forgetting he’s only 21 and can run an offense better than most. Just watch.
  • Giddey shoots the same if he is guarded and when he isn't
  • @grind957
The Josh giddy trade feels like the Derrick white to Boston trade.
  • Actually it's the best trade I've scene in a while. I think it will work out well for the Bulls in the years to come and in the short term help a Thunder team that is achieving early. Not very many player for player trades , it's cool to see .
  • It just tell us that Chicago is going to waive ball and okc and Chicago needed eqch other. Chicago needed a point guard, and okc needed a on ball defender that can switch that can hit 3’s. So they both won.
  • This KID GIDDY IS A MUTANT . He’s going to take Chicago back. Chitown
  • Giddey and Coby white is a really nice backcourt to build around. They will tank and trade Lavine Derozan and sit lonzo or trade him. They are banking on Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey for next years draft
  • @kerry7051
Chicago got a player that is a slam dunk starter and possibly someone to build around for a 30yo player that will spend a lot of time on the bench at okc. Bulls win this trade in a big way.
  • @luv9333
Smart move by Josh. Alot better chance for a contract and A Ring on The Market. Unfortunately i think Chicago is moving on from Zo. love to see him in Dallas
