I'm black and a huge fan of Bill Burr. He does racial humor just the right way: He doesn't sugar coat it yet he's fair about it.

I’m black and a black dude with dirty shoes scares the sh*t outta me too!!! 😂😂😂

Not only wins over an almost all black audience but gets a standing ovation. And with some ballsy jokes on top of it. That's a true sign of great comedy. No pandering, no maliciousness, just smart funny stuff that bonds you and the audience .

that "ashy skin" thing is absolutely a real thing. First black girlfriend I had, we had a similar conversation about that. Skin lotion and lip balm.

Bill Burr doesn’t get a pass on racial stuff because his wife is Black. He gets a pass because he’s Really NOT Racist! It takes talent to tell the truth about race without angering everyone! One of my favorite comedians!
  • This is how we bring people together! We talk, we joke, we have a good time. Respect!
  • I literally threw my back out when he said, "Black don't crack is BS they put lotion on every 20 minutes." 💀
  • My man said “I always got itchy in the winter” I can’t 😂😂😂

I like how he always walks the controversial lane and never lands up into one. It's because he is honest and smart. He doesn't have malice in his heart.

I am a white bald headed biker dude with tatts and a beard married to a black women and with half black kids. I live in a pretty black area. For some reason I seem to be a beacon for racist white dudes. I was in a pub in Birmingham and the chat around the bar area got onto the local area not being the same. I was asked if I was local and I said I was…one guy asked me what it was like to be one of the only white guys in the area? I said “you think that’s bad, try being the only white person in my house.”

him scratchin his back while advising his friend about registering his piece was hilarious.

His accent alone is iconic. Bill burr will go down as one of the greatest stand-up comics of all time.

The lotion bit was hilarious. I laughed out loud in the middle of the night and woke up my wife. This guy is the real deal

If you're black and you love comedy, how could you not love Bill Burr? He makes me laugh out loud, for real.

I attended a mostly black middle school, and Bill Burr reminds me of my buddy James who was one of the few white kids there. James was definitely one of "us", but he was also most certainly very white. He made incredibly humorous observations about black peoples' nuances, little things that the average white person wouldn't notice.

Going into Harlem after midnight and having his chest tighten the higher the street numbers got ove 100 and streets named after Civil rights heroes had me rolling on the floor with tears streaming down my face...too too funny!

"There's too much information in the world and every group misses a little bit". That was a real azz statement. Growing up in the hood I'm glad I grew up hanging with other types of people and getting familiar/seeing other places. Some folks mentally never leave. Same goes vice versa
  • @20DYNAMITE06
His punchlines always hit, but even his throwaway jokes are hysterical “dude, where’d all the cabs go?”
  • @guibox3
Oh man...the bit about he and his wife watching the Elvis documentary had me crying. There is just something about Bill's everyday outlook and the way he delivers it that is second to no one else.
  • @NickMullet
I love how much Bill can talk about race but still manage to not offend while also not pandering. Shows he’s just a genuinely decent guy he doesn’t have to act a certain way.
