DIY Marquee Sign Cat Bowl Stand - The World's Classiest Pet Feeder

This modern, elevated feeding station is the classiest way to feed your cat or dog! A simple woodworking + 3D printing project that's right at home in the coolest coffee shop. Also, am I the only one that thinks it looks like a desk for mini talk show host, and finds that hilarious?

The stand fits two metal food dishes, 4-3/4" in diameter and 1-1/2" deep. It's made of 5 pieces of stacked 3/4" baltic birch plywood. 3 of the pieces are 12-1/4" x 6-3/8", and the other two pieces are 11-3/4" x 5-7/8" (a half inch shorter in each direction). By stacking the pieces in an alternating pattern, a track is created all the away around the stand to hold the 3D printed marquee letters!

I modeled the marquee letters in Fusion 360 (along with the rest of this project), and 3D printed them with black PETG (link below) on my Prusa i3 MK3S.The letters are 0.20" thick, so they sit slightly beneath the outer edge of the plywood.

Fun project. The exposed edge of the plywood really works well in this design. I like the 3d printed letters, great way to add detail.

They may not all be for the cat... but they should be.

Ooooo the tweezers from a pocket knife are the best. I knew they looked familiar. Morley, this is a good project. You could sell those.
