The purpose of this video is to make a case for why you should read Shadow Slave in 2023. Right off the bat let me make clear that there is no real slavery of any sort in this novel. I’ve read 50+ web novels at this point and Shadow Slave is easily among the top 5 that I've read, comparable to the classics like LoM and Throne of Magical Arcana. The novel is ongoing, with around 1070 chapters published at the time of this recording, and the writing is, relatively speaking, very high quality. If you get the chance, Shadow Slave is definitely worth reading.

Shadow Slave is the best web novel I've ever read! I'm still trying to get over everything that happened in Antarctica so far, T-T

Because its pretty poggers my dude. Although i miss the 1v1 combat from sleeper times. It felt much more personal than from what started in nightmare time.altgough i assume its mostly because of how rare are similarly powered enemies

I clicked on this video because I'm actually always searching for something new to read, and yeah I want to read it now, even if it's 2024 xD You had me at futuristic dystopian earth tbh

Hey man i don’t like reading but I do want to see a video of you going through all the chapters and explain it to us like u did on this video. I truly believe you would gain a lot of subscribers by doing this to.

I was on the fence about this one since I felt like the summary/description doesn't do it justice and the reviews were just all over the place. So thanks for the video bro, I'ma start reading rn! I even gave u a subscribe along with a like XD Tbh tho, not sure if I'll watch your content again, but who knows, maybe I might. SPOILER WARNING?: Also, the spell explanation reminded me of being thrust into a nightmare world and having to clear it to survive reminds me of the manhwa "A Returner's Magic Should Be Special", where the mc and his group go into shadow worlds of the past or something and have to like clear an objective for humanity to survive or something. And like there's also the conflict of nobility vs commoners in the real world.

It is such a good novel, the only one who could help my reading slump after reading ORV.

That freaking tree still freaks me out. The beginning of the novel was a horror show. Thank god they calmed down.

This campaign on Antarctica was a real blow. 😳I'm glad that Sunless is slowly getting used to giving and receiving kindness, but this volume is still a roller-coaster of emotions. Have you caught up with the chapter? (Spoiler alert) I'm still moping over the fact that Samara, Belle, Quintin, Dorn, Carin and Gere along with Obel died. The author really knows how to cut onions. R.I.P. to them all.

Only 3 words “Cause its peak” 🤷‍♂️

I am now 1231 chapter as of the time of this comment. This is by far the most I have read when it comes to webnovel. It is like I've already on the book 6 of Harry Potter or reading 2 volumes of Eragon or Lord of the rings. Although those are mainstream this webnovel is really enjoyable because of 3 reasons: 1. Originality, 2. The MC is not the most powerful but also not the weakest or pitiful, 3. The plot is fictional but you can vividly imagine the powers, the nightmares, dreams, the flaws that the author is describing, in short it was masterfully and tastefully created to appease both novice readers and those experienced sage bookworms.
