I will never get tired of hearing Mitch Holthus call football games!

For the first time in 6,944 days there is a back to back Super Bowl Champion. One of the things I love about Mitch calling games, you get accurate, obscure details that make the story more compelling.

It's occurred to me that the Chiefs-49ers Superbowls must be the the most cost effective confetti purchasing in NFL championship history.

Classy call by 49ers' announcers even in a moment of heartbreak.

The recent Super Bowl wins have been a long time coming for Chiefs fans. Over a span of 50 dismal years Kansas City rarely ever made the playoffs. When Kansas City did make the playoffs, we always seemed to lose the first-round matchup. Over those 50 years Chiefs fans experienced a lot of heartbreak. Chiefs fans have paid our dues in that way, and now it is great that we are finally experiencing success. Hopefully the success will continue, and we will win what I consider to be the NFL's Holy Grail, which is an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl title.

I know the play-by-play man in San Francisco has been around for a very long time and props to him for keeping it 100% professional. Somber but kept it professional the entire time. Unlike a lot of clown radio play-by-play announcers.

    Great calls on both sides.

I think the 49ers announcers showed some real class. No excuses, no justifications, just good announcing. They were dejected but they may be professional announcers but they are still 49ers fans. Thumbs up 49ers announcers

Great radio call by both teams crews. 49ers crew kept it professional despite being absolutely gutted, and of course Mitch as usual was fantastic
  • @TWariner
You could totally see them set that up, including Kelce blocking the view. It was brilliant. Go Chiefs!

Who can out fox Andy Reid. He played the clock so well and the corn dog TD was classic. The chiefs gave it all. If the kicker missed the tying goal, Mchomes got sacked at ot 4 down 49er would have won the Superbowl. Still watching the replay. So much fun
  • As a Chiefs fan, I do feel bad for the 49ers. They had a hell of a team, and Purdy had a legendary story in the making - he still does, but you know what I mean. Winning the Superbowl, regardless of how good his team is, would have been front page in the history books. We really are the villain of the NFL... šŸ˜… I have a ton of respect for the 49ers organization, for both the players and the fans. If we ever don't make it to the Superbowl when you do, I'll be rooting for you guys.
