ORGANIZING BASICS | 29 TIPS TO KEEP AN ORGANIZED HOME | organizing motivation
In this video I will share some organizing basics. 29 tips guide how I organized my home and how I maintain it. The white plastic containers are from Ikea but most of the things I have are very old but I'm sure they have similar ones today. The paper box with the white dots are from ikea (very old one) and the paper boxes with the dividers are from Ikea as well. My wooden bin are from Bi mart and all the rest is listed that is from amazon. You can also repurpose paper boxes you have at home and cover it with some decorative paper.

Good Morning Noemi, I realized, it will soon be my one year Scandish Home anniversary. I discovered you not too long after Valentineā€™s Day of 2023. The first video I watched of yours was 2023 reset. Youā€™ve given me so much inspiration, my home doesnā€™t look the same one year later. Iā€™m more organized than ever, and the process is always on going, adjusting things to make my home run more efficient. Thanks so much. šŸ˜Šā¤ļøā˜€ļøšŸŒæšŸ„

Hello Noemi āœØ I love your videos full of good tips and suggestions, but always without a pointing finger. Your ideas are tried and tested and easy to implement. I also like that your organization prioritizes function over appearance. And yet it always looks very aesthetic in your home. You have found a very good and easy-to-implement middle ground. Thank you for inviting us to your home and taking us with you. šŸ’ Stay safe and warm. šŸ«¶šŸ¼šŸ’— Many greetings from Germany. Big hugs. Andrea šŸ¤—šŸ€šŸ’šŸ¤—

Iā€™m putting off cleaning and organizing my pantry to watch this, and Iā€™m comfortable with that šŸ˜‚

Noemi, you are a true inspiration. Your content is calming, creative and love your natural demeanor. I love that youā€™re not about buying items and decor all the time. You use nature and natural elements. Thank you for being you. ā¤ļøšŸ„

Bwahahaha! Love the bloopers! Rolling carts and shallow shelves have been a lifesaver when organizing my elderly father's stuff. He's in the early stages of dementia and is chronically unorganized. I discovered he likes to sort and group things, it helps him function more smoothly and gives him a sense of control over his world. During the last 4.5 years, he's worked his way thru a mountain of stuff and we've invested in several home upgrades to keep him tidy. I've been watching Scandish videos and appreciate the tips here. Noemi is fun and has great ideas!

The best looking, organized home I have ever watched on any social platform. Truly inspiring

Boundaries - this is the one I struggle with the most! And having too much stuff. I guess it goes hand in hand. I will say that I have been better about not bringing in as much stuff and getting rid of things. I was able to eliminate an entire Christmas tub last month by donating things I havenā€™t used in several years. Wonderful video, as always! I hope you all have a wonderful week! šŸ¤—ā¤ļøā˜ŗļø

Thank you for this wonderful video! Over the last several years Iā€™ve become more and more intentional with what comes into and what goes out of our home. Once something is no longer useful for our family, I move it along to someone else who can benefit from it. If something is done serving its purpose, it has no place in our home anymore :).The things we decide are worth it find their place in our home and are well-loved. There will be very few things that we pass on to our children or grandchildren. But the things we do pass on will be very special and meaningful. I want them to grow up understanding and appreciating the value of good, hard work, organization, warm home, family and peace of mind :)

Excellent video Noemi, you are such an inspiration to us all!
  • @alisonsneed3707
Your energy is so adorable! You donā€™t take yourself too seriously, realistically calling out Pinterest perfection.
  • Thank you for pointing out that we are comparing our everyday items to props in a photo! That was an aha moment for me. ā¤
  • What a blessing you are to my homemaking. Love my spending my Saturday Fika watching a Scandish Home video to inspire for the week. Thank you, Noemi!
  • Hello, sweet Noemi,Ā  I've said it before: you are my organizing twin. We have a similar approach to our homes. I have those wooden crates! They are the best. I bought mine at Michael's. They did not cost too much, and I had a coupon, so I got an even better deal. I purchased 20 the first time, went back about a year later, and bought 10 more; they were also on sale. I'm with you on keeping my home organized. I find it easier to keep items in order. I'm an early riser, so I've already done my daily chores. My last big project was to label everything that was in storage containers. I know where the items are; however, my daughter doesn't always know where I've placed them. Now, I can direct her to the location; she has to look for the properly labeled container. I simplified our home years ago, and it's the best choice ever. Later today, I'll be canning and freeze-drying, and I'd like to make some more cold-processed soap. For my downtime activity, my daughter and I will be playing Monopoly, and I will also be working on some wire-wrapped jewelry. I hope you and your lovely family have a wonderful weekend. Stay warm!
  • @brifren2
Thank you for this informative and well-organised video! But, I found the first 5 minutes visually hard to watch and stress-inducing with so many 1-second shoots following one another so fast. There's barely any time for the brain to register what the eyes see, or appreciate the lovely aesthetic of these shots. I was so glad when this fast rhythm stopped and the rest of the video got back to normal again and became very enjoyable.
  • @JandKG
Thank you for sharing. I love these videos however I wasn't able to finish this one because of too many quick shots at once (just a friendly outlook) . It was too straining on my eyes. Look forward to your next video. šŸ˜Š
  • @BroomstickChik
Great advice Noemi! I am guilty of the very first thing! TOO MUCH STUFF!! Working on that tho! Thank you for what you do! ā¤. See you next week!! šŸ˜Š
  • @wendyduncan9084
I agree about the Pinterest visual. I only make the effort for areas that are open, like my craft shelves. My pantry for food is straight practical. Thank you for the lovely video.
  • @NickiDrew
I love and have watched SO MANY organizing videos! THIS has been the most helpful! Thank you so much
