Beautiful Places In The Shropshire Hills

Beautiful Places In The Shropshire Hills//We are back at exploring the most beautiful places in the UK and although we live right by the Shropshire border, we haven't been to the Shropshire Hills before. What can we say? Absolutely stunning. We first went to beautiful Stokesay Castle which not many people have on their radar but it's a must see. And then we went to enjoy the breathtaking views towards Carding Mill Valley and its Long Mynd Ponies. Definitely a place to go back in spring to go for amazing hikes. We fell in love with another place and hope you do too should you visit. Oh and by the way: We stumbled upon an antiques shop in Church Stretton hahah.

  • My husband just asked me what I was doing and I told him, "I'm exploring, vicariously, the Shropshire Hills with Kirsten and Joerg. We are about to have tea." 😂😂
  • Never apologize for taking us antique shopping with you! We love everything!!!!
  • One of the things I love most about your videos is how fresh and honest you are! If it's cold and windy, you let us know! If a place is a bit of a disappointment, you are honest about that, too (always in a tactful way). It's so great to experience these places along with you for the first time.

In watching contemporary British TV, sometimes you think that old England must be gone, but your tours prove to us, otherwise. Thanks! This was an especially beautiful tour.

Another lovely video that has me wanting to visit England, hike the hills in the countryside and have tea & cake in gorgeous old tea rooms. sigh Thanks you two!

I love that gatehouse too. It reminds me of my favorite Grimms fairytales as a child. There is something very enchanting about it. 👍👍👍

Beautiful video. That pony was posing for you, so sweet. An outing wouldn’t be the same without tea and cake

look forward to seeing the Queen Victoria print on display!X
  • Gorgeous. What a beautiful place. The cutest couple on you tube. Thank you for taking us to those lovely hills and the castle. You got to go in summer or spring, and bring carrots or apples for those beautiful ponies. 🐎😊 I felt for you, enduring the brutal cold. You must return when its warmer. Very nice antique shop. Those medieval cottages are lovely.

I walk those hills regularly now - am getting to know them bit by bit 😀 It was lovely to see it through your eyes. It is very exposed in cold weather! I am going again in a few days time to take a friend who has not been before. You are the sweetest people, what a wonderful bond you have. Lovely to see. X

Once again I’m sitting here with a huge smile on my face. I can’t help it. You two make me so happy. I love that you take us on your adventures. I especially loved the Shropshire Hills. I live in a cold region of California, so I know what you mean. Brrr. There was snow today up the road going to Lake Tahoe. So it is very nippy here. I love antique shops. I love furniture. Especially chairs and anything oak. Or cherry, or mahogany. Joerg, what a sweet person you are, letting Kirsten have her picture. I can’t wait to see it in your home 😄. Thank you for your special time with us.

I adored this tour, but I could feel the cold air ..LOL January in the Shropshire Hills. I loved your discourse over the Queen Victoria print. I have a teacup from her coronation. It is one of the loveliest pieces in my collection. I am glad not to be the only admirer of Queen Victoria. Many thanks and please, eat all the cake and tea you want. I love the teashops too.
  • Next time you are in Church Stretton Kirsten, try visiting Jemima's tea room, it is worth a visit especially in the summer when you can sit in the garden which has a view of the church. Also you could go for a climb up the hill Lawley which is very peaceful with beautiful views, especially nice in the summer, we take a picnic up there sometimes.
  • I just cherish my travels with you!❤️ Thank you for all you do!🥰
  • So beautiful views from the mountains remind me a little bit to my beautiful Caribbean Island Puerto Rico. I now had been living in the USA more than 30 years but I still loving my little island... Thank You for sharing UK is in my bucket list.
  • Would we mind if you go into an antique shop?! Never! I enjoyed looking with you! What a beautiful but awfully stark and cold landscape. The old buildings were wonderful, loved the ponies and the “loo with a view” 😄 Thanks for taking us along!
  • Kirsten and Joerg, I felt the cold with you in Shropshire Hills. Brrrrrr. The Gatehouse was gorgeous, the surrounding views and vistas were beautiful and the wild ponies precious and undaunted by visitors, as it should be. A wonderfully made video. Thank you both. • Beautiful old places, we can imagine the people living in those days....and the landscape must be more or less the same... Very nice to see the two of you again and thank you for making us dream😍

Kirsten, I wanted to thank you and your lovely husband for your wonderful series. You are the only ones featuring the wonders of England, different towns and natural places of interest, in such a charming and informed manner. I feel as if I am watching a professional TV series, but with a charming and heart-warming delivery. I believe your videos will endure for many years and bring delight for many. Well done!
