Fun fact: Danny Elfman sang the 'The Simpsons' part with two friends. He made more royalties singing the show's title, than he did composing the theme tune.
-
The older episodes have much more vivid instruments.
-
Never realized this was a Danny Elfman composition, but listening to it now, it makes perfect sense.
-
0:47 That version of the jazz solo has always been my favorite.
-
Disney +: asks me if I would like to skip intro. Me: how bout no.
-
I can’t believe this was the first intro to the Simpsons what a classic
-
Am I the only one who misses Homer running away from the Car; instead of being run over by Marge in the newer seasons?!!
-
Danny Elfman is a musical genius
-
0:45 the jazz solo sounds amazing
-
I was today years old when I realized that Danny Elfman composed this theme song! It seems so obvious now, but yeah... the man is amazing.
-
Can’t believe The Simpsons has been airing on tv for the past 30 years. Iconic!!! 👑
-
0:45 Fun Fact: Even though Lisa's saxophone is a Baritone Saxophone, the saxophone that plays in that version is actually a Tenor Saxophone. It was, however, a real Baritone Saxophone later on as the series goes on, which is why later on, it is an octave lower than this first one.

God I love the first season of the show. So authentic and fresh.

Did anyone see the Bart Simpson look a like at the bus stop?
-
Wow this show looks really interesting, i have a feeling its going to be a big hit one day
-
One of the most greatest and memorable opening sequences in television cinema. To this day I still get chills and goosebumps. 😍😎👍💯
-
I remember watching this show when I was a kid I still love this show!!!!
-
This intro sequence comes from the episode, Homer's Odyssey. I can literally remember what episode they come from with the smallest detail.
-
The bit were Bart takes away the bus stop sign and makes the people run after the bus is definitely my favourite part of this season 1 intro
