One of the best-loved Florida books ever written is the novel, "A Land Remembered" by Patrick Smith. In the years since its publication in 1984, the book has become an international best seller. Recently, to celebrate a new edition of the book, Bill Dudley talked to the author about a time when Florida was one of America's last frontiers.

    I just ordered this book and am looking forward to reading it.  People need to know about life in the past in order to appreciate what we have now.  As a Florida native, I will especially appreciate Mr. Smith's work.

    it's a beautiful book I'm from Orlando FL and my father turned me to it I've read it 3 times
