I haven't discussed it prior, but I'm a big fan of Batman and his mythos - especially the villains.
Long have I heard the debate for who is Batman's darkest, and most cruel villain in all of his iconic rouges gallery, and I believe I have finally found him.
Who is it? watch the video to see! Here's a hint: I hope you enjoyed the Batman Arkham Games (you should play them, anyways. They're amazing!)

I had a blast making this video. Special thanks to Chrysanthemiasma!!! He was the lovely voice you heard in the interview. Check out his art, its so good!!!

The Joker was just trolling, but Scarecrow was genuinely out for blood

Scarecrow deserves to be the main villain of a batman movie

My favorite Scarecrow moment in Knight is him manipulating Batman into thinking Barbara was dead. He played Batman and Jim like a fiddle.
  • Knowing Scarecrow, he probably sees 100 million traumatized victims as a bonus perk, rather than collateral damage.

Not only scarecrow was the biggest danger for Batman but also he completely made him destroy Bruce Wayne and made Batman and Bruce Wayne 1 person
  • So apparently scarecrow hit puberty after getting violated by killer croc

I really hope Matt Reeves utilizes Scarecrow and makes him a main antagonist in the trilogy. It would be a great psychological horror!!! Would also provide a lot of character development for Batman to become the ultimate symbol.
  • Fun fact: it was reveled in a recent Batman comic that Batman is still alive but in hiding. The Batman in the comic hops universes and meets Arkham Batman. I don't remember the specific comic, but he is in fact alive

ngl, "He doesn't see them as people, just acres of skin and bone" has got to be the hardest sentence I've ever heard in my life.

Bane : brakes batman's back Scarecrow : EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
  • What fascinates me is that he went through all these measures to make sure the Justice League wouldn’t show up DURING the plot to unmake Batman but we have no indication that he was ready for who’d come after the dust has settled. Makes you wonder if he wanted to get taken down and possibly get the death penalty so that HE would be martyred afterwards
  • Scarecrow would be the perfect antagonist in a horror movie. Joker proved that you don’t need Batman to have a good supervillain movie, or Venom to include Spider-Man. But Warner Bros might be prudent to dip their toes into that

The fact that he was gonna make the entire east coast tear itself apart with fear is actually insane

I love the absence of music, honestly. Adds to the cold feeling of the Scarecrow

Im glad that not only there's more videos about Scarecrow, but more people talk more about him. He's my favorite Batman villain and he's pretty underrated (But definitely getting more recognition as he should), but he's an odd case. Despite being an amazing villain, he's insanely inconsistent (probably the most inconsistent Batman villain) both design and writing wise. Crane can literally go from being some pathetic lackey for a main villian to just BEING the main villain and damn Arkham Knight did him so well. The New Batman Adventures also did Scarecrow so well and easily gave one of if not the best design for Scarecrow. I just hope for once, he can have a definitive version and glow up like Mr. Freeze for example. Also im praying he will be the main villain in The Batman sequel, he desperately needs creative and great writers. I can go on and on with Crane but im just gonna make a whole damn novel of his character and potential if I keep going 💀
  • The music you used while you covered Scarecrow's redesign left me with literal chills that I was not expecting from this video. . .

John Noble did a fantastic job voicing Scarecrow in Batman: Arkham Knight! John Noble is also known to play other characters in different movies, games, and TV shows: - Lord Denethor of Gondor. (Lord of the Rings 3: Return of the King) - Dr. Walter Bishop. (Fringe) - Henry Parrish. (Sleep Hollow, Seasons 1-2) - Lord Unicron the Destroyer. (Transformers: Prime and Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising) - Brainiac. (Superman Unbound) - Mallus the Time Demon. (DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Season 3) - The Diviner. (Star Trek: Prodigy) - Leland Monroe. (Rockstar's L.A. Noire)
  • The lengths Scarecrow goes to spread and learn more about fear is terrifying. Also Scarecrow broke Batman more than Bane ever could, making him believe he lost those he cares about, and allowing the joker infection to get worse, is truly terrifying how he does all this to have fear to take over the Dark Knight, and to take away hope for Gotham!

I don’t think that Batman uses his own fear toxin at the end of the credits. Remember, most of the criminals were exposed to the fear toxin when the cloudburst was active. In my opinion it wouldn’t be too much of an stretch to think that the remnants of the toxin still had an effect on the surviving criminals of Gotham, causing them to see a “ghost”Batman still protecting the city
