I'm sorry you lost your father. I'm dealing with the loss of my mom last year. But your music has been part of my recovery

Wow. I’m sure I’m not the only one with tears after the first minute. So tasteful and emotional. Even my wife who usually tells me to “turn it down” asked me who is that? Honey, that’s Chris Buck, the most tasteful guitarist on YouTube.
  • I took my son and his best friend to a guitar show in London, and Bernie was on the PRS stand. He asked for volunteers to jam with him and my son’s friend stuck his hand up. Age 14, he played a blues jam where Bernie left room for him to play and took a back seat. He will never forget that day. We spoke afterwards and he came across as a really genuine guy who loved guitars.

Sorry for the loss of your friend. Thank you for celebrating his life by playing his guitar.
  • I've said it before and say it here again. Talented guitarists can take a £200 guitar and make it sound like a million. The rest of us can take that £1m guitar and make it sound like a £200 banger. Respect to your dad and friend.

Rest in Peace, Bernie Marsden. He was a legend among guitar players, Godspeed on your journey. Chris you do your father proud, I am sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences.
  • I have said it many times and I stand by it. Chris Buck is the best guitar player out there for my money hands down absolutely one of a kind.
  • I live in Buckingham and regularly bumped into the guv'nor. He was a gentleman, humble, appreciative and always with a cheeky wink. This world is a sadder place without him.
  • @gcatwyo
Well spoken Chris. RIP to your dad and Bernie.
  • Sorry for the loss of your father and your friend Chris. They were amazing people. Thanks for your great playing.

I realise it's impossible, but the beast really should have it's next chapter with you 🔥🤘
  • Meet Bernie, in of all place's The Memo in Newbridge Chris. The band i was in at that time, played quite often there in the 70s. And we supported a few bands, as well. We were booked to support Whitesnake there. At that time The Memo had 2 stage's, and when we arrived to set up on the smaller stage, we were surprised to see the big stage empty of gear. We were told by one of the committee that the road crew had turned up, took a look at the stage, and said that it was too small, and shoot off. As we were finishing our first set, i saw a guy fighting his way through the packed crowd. He was carrying a guitar flight case. We had just ended our spot and joined him in the dressing room. The first thing he said was, '' Where's the F...... band. We told him, what we were told. He was not a happy bunny. And told us that he had driven all the way from Oxford. After he had calmed down he left. I thought later, that there must be more to why Whitesnake, never played that night. But that must remain, one of life's mystery's. Now, i can remember all that. But cant remember last week. Don't get old Chris.😀

Another great loss to the music world. Mate I love the way you play, your tone and feeling for the sounds you give and the way you allow you the notes breathe not just being flashy for the sake of it. Players like yourself and Pete Hanore are the reason I picked up the guitar at 55 to try and play. Thanks a lot stay the way you are. Cheers mate.

It’s crazy how we live through these instruments. How playing a guitar of a friend who passed is somehow connecting us with them on another level. Really amazing stuff. Thanks for sharing Chris! Cheers 🍻
  • @serenjns
It was amazing to see you at Steelhouse. You guys all sounded so good. You just know Bernie was looking down with the biggest smile on his face.
  • @theprisonier
World wake up. So much in feelings. Thx for this moment.
