I've been wanting a 0012-28 MD for some time now. This video made that want a whole lot stronger. Beautiful playing! Beautiful tone! Beautiful guitars! Thank you for this video!

Very great guitar I picked mine up today 6 -21-24 love it I have had 2 D28 MD and D-18 MD all were great but I love this one
  • Very nice demo of these two wonderful guitars. I just took delivery of a 0012-28MD from Maury's Music. It has all of the wonderful cosmetic and tonal qualities you show, but the sustain is really remarkable.

Teja, beautiful job on "Lashtal's Room" -- worthy of such breathtaking craftsmanship.

Thanks for making this video! There isn’t a lot of info out on these two yet and I’ve been eagerly waiting for my 0012-28 to arrive (they’re on back order). Mine will be another 5 weeks apparently. This has helped tide me over.

The spec on these actually says 1 and 3/4 nut. I like the fact that the bridge pins seem slanted to follow the saddle so you get the best break angle on 1st and 2nd strings, which is not always the case with acoustics.

I have the oo28 om body style modern deluxe. Not a bad guitar. Not much break angle at the saddle. It actually takes a while for it to warm and open up when playing. I leave a tone right purring on it,when not playing it. I prefer the low oval neck profile for ease of playing. I have a martin two thousand thirteen ooo 18 . It is light weight ,resonant, ,and very playable.,because of the no volute, low oval perfomance neck profile equipped with a kand k mini pick up.

Both sound great, but the 00 is as close to perfect as I have ever heard!
  • Ohhhh my goodness! I'm going to sell some of my other guitars and buy me one of these Martin beauties!

Excellent video, what microphone are you using there? Thank you

Im wondering if anyone who owns one can tell me if the nut width feels as wide as a 1-3/4". I know its 1-7/8" but is the difference very noticeable. Im thinking of getting one.
