One thing about post partum anxiety and depression is you don’t feel shitty everyday. Some days are good and some days are bad. So for someone to say “you’re drinking and having fun, doesn’t look like you have mental issues” is totally uneducated and ignorant to the situation. You have your fun girl!!!

People that have never battled depression or anxiety will never be able to understand how we feel and there's no way to try to explain it to them. There are good days and bad days so have fun on the good days, don't listen to the negative comments. I'm glad you get time to go have adult fun. A little time away from the kids is an important part of being a good mom. Every mom needs to recharge.

GIRLLLL I felt the "you don't look like you're struggling, or depressed or anxious" like???? People need to realize that we're good at masking our inner struggles unless it becomes too much. I highly believe that nobody should be belittled or be told that what they have is just in their head EVEN THOUGH you got diagnosed by a doctor like ma'am/sir PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. All of a sudden a doctor confirming your diagnosis isn't good enough to these people like come on, people should support people no matter their differences. Like if ya want us to be sad just say that 💀

Just being older i now really realize you just truly don't know what a person with depression is expressing until you have depression. Someone could even be empathetic but only people who can relate, truly understand what Alondra is saying. Small minded people or people that are misinformed consider people with depression as attention seeking or an excuse to be lazy. That's a huge clear sign that, that person has never experience depression or is currently depress themselves putting and they're negatively releasing their emotions by trolling. Praying for you and your family as things like this sometimes are genetically life long.

As a person that dealt with anxiety & depression and post partum really bad I’m so happy for you & the fact that you are making sure you are good for the baby because if I had opportunity I would have needed that break so much , there will always those that judge without truly understanding. I’m happy for you alo ❤️

Personally for me after having my son my anxiety and depression sky rocketed I struggled for so long on my own with it unit it almost won. I’m so happy that you decided to get help and enjoy yourself! Moms already feel enough guilt for EVERYTHING you don’t need others for that! Enjoy your time babe, the best way to take care of your baby is if you take cate of yourself to! Happy momma happy baby!

Love you that you addressed that mental health issue. We push ourselves for our significant other most of the time. Because it’s us going through it and it’s not fair for them for us to make them cancel plans. Glad you enjoyed yourself because forgetting about it at the moment of having a good time and some fun is already a win. Keep it up gorgeous ❤️
