When a Japanese lawyer in a British courtroom figures out the whole case faster than Scotland Yard could.
  • Ryonosuke: "Let's not forget, Inspector, that you --- a Scotland Yard officer --- leaked confidential case details to a witness! That you continue to lie to the court! And all because, by fair means or foul, you're determined to do your duty. Well... by fair means or foul, I'm prepared to do mine!" Gregson: "Don't you dare..." Ryonosuke: "I will stop at nothing to protect my client! I don't care who i make an enemy of!" Van Zieks: "......." Ryonosuke: "My lord! If you please! The court must hear the sound made by the music box!" Gregson: "Come on, van Zieks! For Pete's sake! Stop 'im!" Van Zieks: "Objection! Inspector, you should know my method by now. I'm a prosecutor ... I'm no Scotland Yard puppet." Gregson: "Urgk....." Van Zieks: " In this courtroom, my duty is to the law. So let me propose a toast. To uncovering the truth.... by fair means or foul." It's one of the best moment of the first game

Ah, Ace Attorney. The only series where you leak government secrets through a music box in order to prove the innocence of a pickpocket.

I WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO PROTECT MY CLIENT I DON'T CARE WHO I MAKE AN ENEMY OF

Usually Pursuit themes feel like you're shouting out something like "You've lost!" But to me, this one sounds more like a triumphant "I've won!"

When u finally finish the game and u can finally read the comments that says "spoiler"
  • @fernoshader1211
Can we just acknowledge that this played FIVE times in the whole game and three of these were in the LAST trial AT THE VERY END
  • Love this theme so much… unlike the other AA pursuit themes, it doesn’t feel like attacking the culprit as much as celebrating the revealed truth
  • Most games are about power fantasies but ace attorney is for those that want big brain fantasies because let's be honest this game makes you sound smarter than you are.

Cornering Dr. Sithe has never been so godly unless you have the Prelude to Pursuit as your hype up music
  • Fun fact: The r/AceAttorney subreddit a little while back held a song elimination contest, pitting every Ace Attorney song from every Ace Attorney game against one another in one big poll. This song won the whole thing. So I guess this is legally the best song in all of Ace Attorney.
  • i love how little they played this bc every time they did i was like “YES! i’ve finally done it!” instead of the usual “I’m almost there!” It felt like you had everything fall into place
  • This is so much more satisfying to listen to now that we’re getting the great ace attorney in English
  • @starwarspro4
I’ll DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT MY CLIENT! The best line said by any AA protagonist
  • @BKDK847
This pursuit theme makes it feel like you've completely won. No more trying to prove something, you just win. Hands down my favourite pursuit theme.
  • @klodpraisor
“All I care right now is to prove my client’s innocence!” “I don’t care if I make the entire British Empire my enemy!” ... or something along the line, I forgot the exact quote.
  • Hold it! So you're telling me the first ever ace attorney pursuit in history happened over 100 years earlier than mine?!
  • @StarStabbedMoon
This is absolutely a pursuit theme. They've been composing excessively-fast pursuits for 15 years. A change in style was long overdue.

ITS TIME BOYS AND GIRLS, WE'VE DONE IT. THE HYPE TRAIN IS REAL
