I wish every old horse could end up with the kind of love and care Boone is getting.

We used to call the oldtimers lawn ornaments because their job was to hang out on the lawn grazing, napping and looking pretty.

He is incredibly handsome now at his advanced age, he must have been stunning when he was younger. I can't imagine he never had a name, well done for giving him love and dignity. On a side note, the oldest horse in the UK and probably the world was Old Billy who lived until he was 62. He was a canal barge horse, and even when he was ancient, he didn't want to give up the work he loved, so his owners would harness him up, but not attach him to the barge that needed towing and he would walk alongside a younger horse, and think he was doing all the work.
