Hello red beard, used to be my CB handle back in the early 70's, now I guess I am white beard. lol
-
GREAT video! Thank you for posting. You went to a lot of extra work to do this and it is very much appreciated.
-
This is really cool. Thank you for sharing your adventures!
-
I have watched all of your videos, and used a good bit of the info to lighten. Pretty stoked. My 13 year old son and I are leaving for our thru in six days. Good luck on the PCT.
-
Love the videos. I just got back from sectioning the first 40 miles to Neel Gap in a few days. It's so different in the summer than your late winter videos. Cool, to see the difference and I appreciate your logging the videos to give me some tips.
-
Great Job on all your videos of the AT! I've watched all of them and learned a lot of valuable information on the trail.
-
makes me feel like I am right there with you! Very well done!

Thanks for responding to my upgrade request to move up to a 52 liter Arc Blast. I see how clean yours was at the start of your thru hike. I hope mine holds up as well as yours did. Happy trails.
-
As a brit watching these videos it's really cool to see and actually feel like you're experiencing the AT. These videos are really good and the camera work is amazing! Thanks mate. Much appreciated.
-
Just watched your Superior Hiking Trail series and liked it so much I went looking for more.
-
Ran into a few of your friends from Zpacks during the 2020 ATKO at Amicalola Falls a few weeks back right before the ATC shut the trail down. Crazy how quickly things change. Been binge watching your videos over the past few days. Subbed!
-
Will, thanks for all the great videos on the Appalachian Trail. Someday a feat I hope to complete.
-
This video was amazing! I hope I get the chance in the near future to do this either by myself or with my wife and pup. It just doesn't appear to be in the cards to do it right now but I'm hoping things change and we can make this happen. Glad my buddy turned my on to your channel. God bless everyone who thru hikes the A.T.!
-
Thank you for this video. I am from Gatlinburg in the Smokies and I'm practicing for a future thru hike. I found your videos while doing research. So far, yours have been some of the best. I need all the help I can get and appreciate the advice given on your hikes.
-
I'm really enjoying this Red Beard, thanks for making the effort. It must have been a chore having to hold the selfi-stick much of the time. The video quality is excellent. Downunda - AT 2000-2002

This is such an awesome video. I'm planning on heading out to section hike in May. Thanks dude!!

The way you filmed this gives it an almost RPG like feel haha not just because of the first person but because of everyone's stances and displays of character as your recording as well as the buildings in the area. I was half expecting there to be a variety of mythical beasts you'd have to team up and slay in order to survive the journey. But thankfully everyone gets to keep their head in this day an age and adventure in a relatively peaceful world.

Love the videos man. Thanks for sharing.
