SYRIA | What's It Like to be a Tourist in Damascus?

I'm crying because despite the fact that the economy in Syria is still recovering, the bread maker and the ice cream shop owner didn't let you pay. Thank you so much for letting us come along this journey.

As a Syrian, I would like to thank you for soo many things. First of all thank you for using the term crisis instead of civil war. 2nd thank for your courage that lead you to take a trip like this one and see the beauty of Damascus for your own eyes, despite all the trouble surrounding it. Damascus only reflects the beauty of its visitors, if you can see and appreciate its beauty, then you are a beautiful person yourself, thats what I believe. Thank you for appreciating those simple gifts, it shows what a kind hearted person you are. Finally as a hardcore party animal, I’m a bit sad you didn’t show night life in damascus :p. It too has a tase of its own. Also, rest assured you are always welcome, you have got yourself another home. Greetings

I was born in Damascus,, My family immigrated to the USA in 1986,,I was 16 years old then. so I've been living in The US since 86 ( 34 Years ) and let me tell you,if I could push a button right now that would take me back to the moment I boarded the plane to come here I would step right off of that plane and Stay in Syria.
