In 1973, I had to say goodbye to my first love. We were quite young, and he lived in Colorado, and I was in Arkansas, but we did have a beautiful summer together. Anyway, I found that Dolly Parton song "I will always love you" shortly after, and I listened to that record every night for a year or so, just grieving for that loss. So, that song means a great deal to me.
