blackpink pink venom was TERRIBLE

The song is fine, very underwhelming but still fun. My problem is with the lyrics, the verses literally make no sense and have no correlation to each other. They just repeat nonsensical “badass” phrases that have nothing to do with pink venom? even the singing parts make no sense. We needed more vocals. I also just can’t help but cringe at the outro like tf is gratata? I get it’s a pre release single and we need to “wait for the album” but why should you need to wait 2 years to get something decent? Other groups are really pushing the envelope and coming out with innovative concepts with good music. And teddy is stuck using middle eastern trap samples from 2012 like give it up!

help what is this slander against Playing With Fire & Kill this love😭😭 but yeah this song is not it. i have been with bp since their debut so. the producer could have given them a better song but since this is just a single and there will be another title track for their upcoming album, i’m anticipating that then. the only good thing in this song is Jisoo’s opening, Lisa & Jennie’s raps gosh that synth or whatever sound is that pulling me in and the bridge. For me, their best song is Lovesick Girls cause the lyrics atleast relatable and i love dramatic angst like song? hahah

If you can’t acknowledge that your fave Kpop group can have bad songs then that’s a major red flag. It’s not a personal attack on the members and their abilities’. These girls, if anything, have been majorly let down by their producer. I’d much rather wait longer for a great song and M/V than have something that sounds discombobulated.

I have the feeling that yg is trying everything to produce a successful song like 4d, but every song that came after 4d (besides lovesick girls) was basically the same and was just disappointing

the mv alone made my head spin, there were so many close ups and everything was so fast.. the ending was empty😭😭 the girls looked amazing tho and the rap saved the song

Honestly in my opinion, it’s one of those songs you hate then slowly like after. My first reaction was “it’s ok”, but the next day (today), I listened to it again and I got more into it, but the only thing I hate from the song was the ending “ra ta ta”, i just can’t seem to bring myself to hear it.

I wished that the girls actually wrote their own lyrics... The songs would be so much better... Like stay, stay's lyrics were written by Jennie and they actually made some sense... YG is so controlling :( They deserve better..

THEY PUT SO MUCH FOCUS ON THE MV THAT THEY FORGET BP ARE MUSICIANS. IT'S LIKE SONG IS RECYCLED ,CHOREO IS JUST WALKING AROUND BUT VISUALS AND MV IS TOP TIER. AND WHAT CREEPS ME OUT MOST IS THAT THEIR FANS ATE IT UP, I MEAN HOW CAN YOU DO THAT. THERE WAS ONE COMMENT "THE SONG IS BAD BUT GIRLS DID HARDWORK SO LET'S STREAM." I’ve never disliked a single blackpink song but this one might be the first 😭 Me and my friend watched it together right when it debuted and we were so confused. It just felt messy and too familiar and we couldn’t really pinpoint a concept for the MV. The girls look great but I wish we had more

Honestly, the only part i genuinely liked in this song was the bridge. It sounded great. Jennie's and Lisa's first verses were okay, nothing special. The prechorus was also kinda generic and bland. I'm not sure how I feel about the rap. They had a good flow but their lyricist really needs to stop writing english lyrics. It's just cringy and wannabe hip-hop. The chorus was an abomination. I'm sorry, but i just cannot listen to the chorus for more than 2 seconds. Overall, the song had decent and bad parts but in the end, it is what it is - a very generic blackpink song that's no different from any of their other title tracks.

bro i was so excited for this song and when it ended i was so confused 😭 like for some reason the structure of the song reminds me of kill this love, hylt, and crazy over you but if they were combined. im just gonna pray that the title track has a vibe like lovesick girls 🙁

The lyrics aren’t very good and it felt like lazy writing.
