This man was probably one of the best male vocalists to ever exist. I am 49. I grew up with so many different music styles do to my parents encouraging and enlightening me. I have played music for 27 years and appreciate talent. This man's vocal ability and range is legendary. Thank you for the music!!

'Love hurts' was first recorded by The Everly Brothers on thier 1960 album 'A Date with the Everly Brothers but it was never released as a single (A-side or B-side) by the Everlys but due to a falling out with their manager & publisher they were prevented from releasing it as a single. It was after the dispute was settled in 1964 that they re-recorded it for thier 1965 album "Rock 'n' Soul'. Roy Orbison was the first to have a hit with it in 1961 (Only in Australia) when he released "Running Scared"/"Love Hurts" that became an A double sided hit with both sides reaching No 5
