Fly Fishing Lees Ferry for Rainbow Trout (Catch, Cook, and Camp)

Published 2019-07-30
Day 4 and 5 Death Valley to Lees Ferry:

Today’s video documents my travels as went from death valley to where I previously did a Rainbow trout catch and cook to Las Vegas, Nevada and all the way to Lees Ferry, Arizona. The final Major destination of my journey. I spent the next 2 days fishing and camping in and around this ultra-clear water for some native Rainbow trout. I was able to hook up to plenty of fish and wrapped the day up with a Catch n’ cook overlooking the marble canyon. Unfortunately, I dropped my hard drive the other day and lost a day’s worth of footage here in Lees Ferry but the final videos I do have are some of my best. If anyone knows how I might go about fixing my hard drive without paying thousands of dollars, let me know. Otherwise, ill hang on to it and maybe one day will be able to release this lost footage.

About this series:

This video series is capturing my adventures as I went on a 1,700+ mile road trip spanning 4 states and several unique and beautiful locations! Such as the Kern river valley, Death Valley, Lees Ferry, and everything in between. I have been planning this road trip for some time and based all of the stops around one big fishing road trip. This series will be about 7 videos in total, this being the first and takes you along through the ups and downs of my tour of the West. My only goals for this trip was to make it as cheap as possible, eat mostly fish, and document my travels to share and remember all that I have done. I can say for sure that these videos to come are by far my best and most unique to date. I hope you all enjoy my travels as much as I did. Each video will be spaced out about a week and covering the full 1,700 miles of my journey I’ve been calling the MainelyOutDoors Wandering of the west. Make sure you subscribe so you don't miss out on the several videos to come. Enjoy!
