  • I looked up Alan's shirt from the first part of the video and just wanted to say, as a mom of two boys: Thank you for openly supporting mental health awareness for everyone, but in this case specifically for boys and men.

I would like to see a winner picks dinner skyliner addition. In addition to the normal winner picks dinner rules, add one more that you must go to each of the 4 resorts at least once. As someone who usually comes to Disney on a budget, and typically stay at a resort on the skyliner, this would be a fun way to learn about all the different food/beverage options on the skyliner.

Alan, thank you for supporting and bringing awareness to mental awareness. My 11 yr old son struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts. We tell him all the time it’s ok to be sad and that he is allowed to cry that everyone boys and girls cry.

Omg. Mollys reaction to the tropical ears was EVERYTHING.
  • I wonder if Molly’s wedding vows to Alan included “sometimes I have to share the cheese.” 😂

We always stay at Caribbean Beach simply because it's so "affordable" for a moderate resort. And now having the skyliner makes it really convenient! The biggest issue is the bus loop, but we typically stay close to the Riviera and just walk over to their bus stop and back when going to MK & AK.
  • Just an FYI. They only changed the Trinidad rooms to the undersea theme and you have to book a standard 5th sleeper to get that room. That being said all of the rooms did a get a refresh last year with new flooring etc.

    “Dads- here’s your thermostat.” - I lol’d way more than I probably should’ve 😂😂😂

I stayed at Caribbean Beach in May 2022. It was my first ever stay on property at WDW and I loved it! Our room was in Aruba - we stepped out of our room, walked across the car park to the bus stop, which was the last or 2nd to last stop before leaving the complex. We were never not able to get on any of the buses. If we were going on the Skyliner then we were a hop, skip & jump to the Riviera station. We had the choice of eateries at both h resorts which was brilliant! A 10 minute walk to Port Royal reception was absolutely no problem for us. On arrival our luggage was delivered to the room by a cast member, and they collected it from our door on departure day. We only ate in the main grab and go once and in Banana Cabana a couple times - and that banana & coconut bread pudding was to die for!! As a one & only stay at WDW we wanted to stay at a moderate rather than one of the values, which we assumed would be busier with children. We didn’t want to spend more to stay at a luxury resort as the holiday was expensive enough as it was! All in all, I expect it depends on which island you stay in on resort but we couldn’t fault it.

Alright! Molly and Alan do a staycation vlog on my favorite WDW resort...nice way to start a Friday!

We always stay at CBR bc we are a family of 5. It's so much cheaper to stay there in a 5th sleeper than a suite at AOA or Pop, or two non-suite rooms. Also, the room you had actually IS one that has been "refreshed". Only rooms in Trinidad were done in the Little Mermaid theme; the other rooms were were updated with new paint, new flooring (replaced old carpet), new curtains, and new beds (with room for storage underneath). The best areas to stay are Jamaica and Aruba! Closer to the Skyliner and cheaper than the preferred rooms which are on either side of Old Port Royale. :)

Not the sing along at the end - we nailed that harmony lol
  • @beckylougold
Can we put in requests - because I'd LOVE to see a staycation at Art of Animation?! Pretty please!
  • @Smcclem
Alan referencing John Mulaney with the bench joke made my day! 🤣
  • @erinweber2985
We love CBR so much! We have had one issue with the internal bus loop as we always stay in Aruba the 3 MK busses in a row were full so we missed out on early park perks. Live and learn and this summer we are taking a minnie van to MK 😊
  • @lnicolaison
Caribbean Beach was the first Disney resort my family stayed at when I was 7 and the Sebastian Disney song covers are really bringing back the memories. They would play that music nonstop throughout the resort and it’s the main thing I remember from our stay 😂
  • @kristinfonte
Caribbean Beach is my favorite! Because of the Skyliner, mainly. Sebastian’s sucks. If you get an Aruba room, walking to the Riviera Skyliner is less than 5 minutes and you get to the parks sooo much faster than taking a bus. MK takes a little longer, but Aruba’s the last stop on the bus route, so you’re off to the Springs or MK right away. Convenience to Studios or EPCOT can’t be beat. If that’s important to you, stay at the Beach. 😊❤

This series is so helpful! This is one resort I’ve been hesitant to stay at just because it’s such a large resort.
  • Hehehe. “9 pieces of whatever we had in our pockets at the time?! Oh yes that sounds very pirate-y!” 😂 I love that little detail
