I lived up there in Livingston for twenty years and never saw anything like this, not even after hurricanes. Praying for them.

Prayers for all the people and animals suffering from the devastating weather. Special prayers for the Morrow family and their animals in Plum Grove. Jami and Lester Morrow own and operate the Ima Survivor Sanctuary for animals who have suffered from abuse. They have a YouTube channel, and are sharing how this is affecting the animals. They are moving animals to another area out of the flood range, and offering to help others, family and neighbors. Watching their videos, really puts the damage, suffering, and upcoming threat on a personal level.
  • I'am so Happy i live in the Highlands in South Germany. We have no Tornados. We have no Hurricanes. We have no Earthquakes. We have no Flashfloods. Only Hailstorms are a Dangerous from Time to Time.

We were camping at Huntsville state park and we're evacuated Thursday AM, thank God for the Walmart parking lot near by, many campers took refuge there.

Livingston here. It rained more overnight and lightning struck and set fire to an apartment block not far from here.

Does anyone realize that there are dams which have been releasing water that somehow feed into the Trinity River & other water ways so that those dams don't collapse??With heavy rains plus release of dammed water what happens??It totally elevates the # of inches of total water flowing into Plum Grove & surrounding areas..It isn't just how many inches of rainfall..they need to factor in released dam water too...

After 2 years back to back of serious dought, I can imagine the ground is messed up and hard so it's not taking on as much water as it should.
  • @pennywebb9546
Maybe if they would stop with the cloud seeding and weather manipulation we wouldn't be flooded.
  • When I was 12, we moved from New York to Baytown, Texas lost everything in a flood, including our dog who was put in the loft in the garage. We never found him again. My nephew got bit by a copperhead, pulling up carpet that was the worst place I have ever lived in my life. I will never go back to Texas, anywhere in Texas!
