This one's been in the works for well over two years now, and I'm finally happy with the arrangement.

Anyone who has heard the Piano Collections version of Battle with Gilgamesh will probably recognise a few elements in this cover. This was the first piece I ever did my own arrangement of, and it came about simply because I decided I didn't like how the Piano Collections arrangement dropped the pace of the piece midway.
Fast forward a couple of years, and I'd rearranged the middle section to my liking, sampled the original introduction and slowed it down so learn by ear, tacked everything together and fiddled with it for a while, and played the whole thing relentlessly for months.

NOTE
This is an ARRANGEMENT: I learned this piece by ear, and tweaked things to my liking. I claim no ownership over the original piece, which was written by Nobuo Uematsu for Final Fantasy V.
