Why don't these advocates open their homes to them then?
  • The "advocates" need to be cleared out first, and kept out.
  • We've done it the activist's way for YEARS. Now, stand aside.
  • I'm tired of hearing from these advocates. Like why don't you put them in your home if you're so worried about them??

Families living in the neighborhood, many of whom are Vietnamese immigrants, must be so grateful to see their streets being cleaned up again. I can't imagine being a parent and having to raise your children in those conditions - it's high time that the city put its foot down and said enough is enough.

Advocates always have something to say... Regardless of your stance on homelessness, cities HAVE to clean this filthy mess up. Homeless? Option A. Go to treatment, Option B. Go to jail. Simple :)
  • I was on Market Street today. It looked and felt different. Glad something is being done...even if it takes baby steps.

The "advocates" are not impacted in any way, shape, or form by the homeless encampments. Relocate them near their homes or offices and hear them scream about the issues having them so close creates/

These advocates need to take these homeless people in, and perhaps their tune will change. Living in the streets is not legal and safe and enabling their criminal lifestyle. I don’t think any of these homeless advocates have ever had kids before.

A lot of these people came from out-of-state to live this lifestyle. Maybe they'll start to go home. Yeah, it's tough love, but that's what is required.
  • Maybe the advocates have an idea where that unaccounted for $24 billion for the homeless is.
  • @ActivRoots
But where is the 20 billion ??? Already signing off on another budget?
  • Is anyone keeping track of where the homeless are going after their encampment has been removed? We need these data to determine Next Steps. It's not acceptable for these homeless to form another encampment -- that's a total waste of money being used to clear the encampments!!! We need financial accountability and transparency in this process.

Get these homeless industry advocates out of the way. Clean the mess up and don't let it return.
