Metallica: turn the bass down so that you just can hear it. Megadeth: Amplify the bass as much as possible so you can just hear the other instruments.

Peace Sells, Master of Puppets, Among the Living, and Reign in Blood were the soundtrack in my car for my 16th year. Of course I kept some Van Halen and Ratt in the glove box for the rare occasion we got some girls to go somewhere with us.
