This sounds so innocent , a good representation of that era of the 50s-early 60s compared to the cesspool , open sewer decade of the 2020s. Boomers were just kids, the silent generation wasn't raising hell and complaint about everything, Ike was in the whitehouse and the USA was king of the hill. These old songs give me a bittersweet feeling. It makes me happy to listen to them but then that feeling of sadness can strike because we all know that this era is never coming back, just in our memories.
