This week, we're back where we started: together in LA. We're joined by Tam for a look at the highs and lows of Summer Games Fest 2024. We also got to chat with Julian Gerighty and Fredrik Thylander of Ubisoft Massive, discussing the imminent release of Star Wars Outlaws.

Let's meet our hosts!
- Jake Baldino (aka the Before You Buy Guy) is pretty much the most watched reviewer on YouTube across both Gameranx and his personal channel (youtube.com/c/JakeBaldino). If you're obsessed with Delorians, The Mummy and Pizza you can discuss that stuff with him directly over on Twitter: @JakeBaldino

- Lucy James is a Senior Producer at Gamespot and a Creative Producer at Giant Bomb. She's actually, like, experienced and credentialed and has real life skills and stuff, while the rest of the gang would be funemployed if the YT algorithm didn't kiss them for random, inexplicable reasons.

- Skill Up used to work at McDonalds but he got fired for skimming too many chicken nuggets. He says he regrets it since he hasn't had a better job since.

  • @stickbar_
Ironing board table and cuck chair hotel setup is incredible
  • @FlipFlab
Major props to Ralph and the team for actually asking them about the content approach.
  • @maineman5757
Seeing Jake next of other people really shows how big his hair really is.
  • @pichael2405
I for one appreciate the ironing board cosplaying as a table using a bedsheet xD
  • @MarceloBDA
this is probably the best improvised setup that I ever saw for a podcast in a hotel room
  • @For0489
Jake looking like he's entering his Lies of P phase lol
  • @xpreame3406
How did you guys get a real life Jake? I thought those were only available in New York
  • @Dappatron
These in-person podcasts, feat. Tam, are becoming my favourite part of summer game fest/game awards etc.
  • @solidkwon
Tamoor’s point about how every new AC game can be someone’s 1st AC game js such a great point. We may be getting jaded with AC games but I am absolutely sure each new AC game will get a lot of love
  • @xram4333
Matt Booty standing next to the words "Vessel of Hatred" LOL. Spot on Tam
  • @pillowtalk2445
I really like the episodes where tamoor are in them. He is such a good fit for the podcast. Either he becomes the fourth member or not, i think he should definitely be a guest more often!
  • @cozypixelgaming
I unironically didn’t notice you didn’t introduce Tam for a bit as a guest because he fits so well on the podcast. I’m sure he doesn’t have the time but he’d be a great fourth, I appreciate what he brings to your conversations.

Tam: "You don't need to find me, its fine." Instant fan
  • @xer0dude
The ironing board and blanket combo is genius lol
  • @tangentkatz
Watching the Double Fine documentary changed my perspective on demos and vertical slices. Seeing how much time goes into what is essentially a marketing tool, I'd rather devs have that time for the core game. But I'm not a pre-purchaser, so I'm fine waiting until a game releases to know of I want to play it.
  • @ibrinton6
It was nice to have Tam back on, I really enjoy his thoughtful perspectives and contributions to the Pod.
  • @Jomiixx
the masses demand for more Tam on the pod
