My Dad was killed in a plane crash (military) when I was 6 years old (I'm 65 now) and my mother never remarried. She had a picture of my Dad on her nightstand all my life. She passed away recently as I whispered to her that she would soon be reunited with her precious husband, the love of her life. She never stopped loving him and this song gave me the sense of what life would have been like had they had their whole life together!
