The greatest thing about this movie was so few had a clue what it was about. The title revealed very little. Watching it was pure pleasure.

First time I watched this I think I was 17 or 18. I went for about an hour or so walk after it just to let it sink in, one of my favourite movies of all time

One of the most underrated movies in history. No talking during this scene. Beautifully dark. Shows revenge really means nothing imo.

I rented this movie back from the prehistoric Blockbuster the same day I rented Braveheart. I was waiting for a ceiling fan to be set up in my house and had to take off work since the contractor did not give an exact time to install. I decided I would treat my self to a movie day. After watching both movies I needed fluids to replace all the tears from both movies! Exhausting, heart wrenching but beautiful movies. Legends of the fall is still in my top 3 movies of all time.

Reminds me of “The Godfather” baptism sequence when the Corleones’ enemies are killed. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
