I watched over 1hr tarp setups for my fishing gear in rain, and this look best. Simple, quick, dry floor. I like it.

This is the coolest tarp shelter I’ve seen on YouTube. Has a floor and is completely enclosed. So cool.

Really nice video. Straight to the point, did not have to give us your life story, everyone has to give their life story. Many years ago in retail I found . . . Never mind.
  • I like how simple this is while still providing some comforts such as a floor. I do alot of motorcycle camping with minimal gear. This would be far simpler than my backpackers tent.

I like that. I can use that on my canoe trips as I can substitute the tree with half a canoe pole to get the vertical point. It would require another guy line and stake, but definitely worth considering. Thanks for the tip and a nice concise delivery of the video.

First time I've seen this set-up, and I really like it. Will try it the next time I'm out. Thank you for the great demonstration.

Brilliantly simple set up. Thanks for sharing this. I'll be using it next time I'm out. All the best
  • This is cool. So simple, and much more backpackable than a regular tent for backcountry camping. Liked and subscribed, and saved the video!

  • Will rain here Sunday, so I'll set this up and evaluate. Thanks for the straightforward and brief instructions.

Very cool, Andreas, thank you for sharing. I've seen many tarp configurations but this was a first for me.

I'm late to the party, but still wanted to say how much I enjoyed that ! THANKS ! 😎👍

If a tree isn't available, perhaps a hiking pole and lines to counter the tarp.
